SceneFlow is a language-learning app for building Japanese or English skills through short, everyday scenes. Listen, read aloud, and practice shadowing with language you can connect to real life. Instead of novels or news, SceneFlow focuses on familiar moments: getting ready in the morning, commuting, cooking, working, going out, and winding down at night. Learn natural expressions by connecting words with scenes, actions, feelings, and short conversations. LEARN THROUGH EVERYDAY SCENES Choose lessons by topic and difficulty. Each scene is short enough for a few minutes of practice, making it easy to study during small breaks. Compare Japanese and English as you learn expressions you can reuse in similar situations. NORMAL AND SLOW AUDIO Listen to full passages or individual sections at normal or slow speed. Hear the word order and rhythm clearly, then replay each section as often as you need. READ ALOUD AND REVIEW TEXT MATCHES Read the full scene aloud and compare the recognized speech with the lesson text. Mismatched words or phrases are highlighted in red, and a text-match percentage helps you review what was recognized. Please note: the match percentage compares recognized words or characters with the lesson text. It does not acoustically score accent, stress, intonation, or naturalness. PRACTICE WITH SHADOWING Listen to one section and speak immediately after it. Japanese learners can use English support, while English learners can use Japanese translations. Progress is stored separately for each language.
