## What is Scenic Routes?

Scenic Routes plans walking and transit directions through UK, optimising for routes that take you through parks, along rivers and canals, and away from traffic-heavy roads. Use the points of interest feature to embark on short side quests to visit and learn about historical buildings, monuments and more.

Four routing styles:
 • Scenic — weaves through parks and quiet streets. For when you have time and want the most pleasant walk.
 • Well-Lit — prioritises well-lit streets. For navigating after dark.
 • Direct — the shortest pedestrian route. For when you just need to get there.
 • Loops — pick a duration, and we'll plan a scenic round-trip taking you back to your starting point.

Built for walking and transit:
 • Live navigation with turn-by-turn directions
 • Support for buses and trains, with live updates
 • Suggest detours on nearby points of interest with a description

No accounts
 • Scenic Routes doesn't ask you to sign up. Bookmarks and preferences are stored only on your device, and we don't track what you search for. Your location is only used to show your position on the map.
