Greek Honeymoon
So pleased I leaned on Origin to help us plan our one-week honeymoon in Greece. From the second we landed in Athens, everything felt so seamless and easy. I would highly recommend Origin to anyone looking to have a luxury trip, especially in a location you don’t know.
Easy Luxury
We just finished 10 days in Andalucía (Spain). I saved myself hours upon hours of researching, planning, and booking, using the Origin app and travel curator (Sarah Casewit) with fantastic results. We stayed in luxury “in the know” hotels, ate at fantastic restaurants either recommended by or reserved for us by our travel team, and we had a great local “host/concierge” (Fabricio) who was available to us our entire trip. He checked in with us on arrival and every day thereafter by WhatsApp to make sure we knew what was next and to see if we needed anything. I will be using Origin again without hesitation.

I was told the average cost is $10,000 for a 5 day trip in the US? Ridiculous. There is a 5 night minimum not mentioned, even though the app allows you to choose less than 5. Expect to overspend if you use them.

You can easily do better
I wanted to see what these curators could come with so I put in a request… Bali for a few days. They said they couldn’t do it because their itineraries START at $10,000 for 5 days. The average family of 4 spends around $1,000 per month in Bali. Even with an average round trip flight of $2000, HOW is one person spending $10,000 in Bali in 5 days? This app is clearly for people who have zero idea how to manage a dime. Whatever they plan for you is not going to be a good deal. But hey if you like overspending, that’s your business.

Insulting - They need to rework their business plan
I make $350k per year and even I think $16k for a 7-day family vacation is insane...who is your target market? Obviously, your business plan didn't take into consideration the pandemic recession and political climate that is not fond of the 1%. 😳 Wow.
Also, a little ridiculous that your UX designer approved the "Rejected" language on the home page. Appalling.

In terms of pricing, we currently focus on complex itineraries with multiple destinations and regions in one trip, you might not see the value in booking with Origin.
