Intensity level 1, a 5 second diffusion that repeats every 4 minutes (240sec per manual), is way too overpowering for my bedroom. To bypass this, i figured i could set a bunch of schedules, so that an intensity level 1 (5 second diffusion) occurs every 15 or 30 minutes… nope. There is a limit of 5 schedules on the app. Frequency and duration of diffusion need to be two separate parameters, which could live under schedules time slots. Example: 5 second diffusion to repeat once every 15 minutes from 4pm to 10pm. Eliminate intensity altogether, it’s ridiculous. PLEASE make scheduling more customizable. This is a $200+ diffuser with serious software limitations. Now i only smell the fragrance for the first 10 minutes of each hour after i’m home from work until 9pm… ### 2/5 — Use to be better *2024-09-22, version 2.3.7* They need to extensively upgrade this app. they got rid of some functions that were very beneficial such as how long you want the machine to pause between Scenting, etc. Also, my sent machine is not retaining the schedule that I have set for it so I don’t know if there’s a problem with my mini or if it’s the app just not functioning correctly ### 2/5 — ugly app, missing features *2023-12-16, version 2.3.5* the diffusers that this app supports literally cost thousands of dollars, and this app looks like hot garbage. please invest in UI and UX improvements to this app. generally, there are a number of ways this could be more appealing and less janky-looking. i would design it for free for you just so i didnt have to see this UI anymore. it would also be well-served by adding features like a field for identifying and tracking which scent is in each unit. we pay for premium diffusers and scents. please offer us a premium app experience. ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2023-08-30, version 2.3.5* I've tried and tried to get this app to find the diffuser. How IS ANYONE using their diffuser????????????? ### 1/5 — Useless, can no longer access my diffusers *2023-08-08, version 2.3.5* For quite some time now I have been unable to connect to my diffusers with the app… it just doesn’t recognize them. I have two. So they are on the schedule that they are on and I cannot alter it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, restarting the diffusers, checked wifi and Bluetooth. I love the scents and product but this is absurd. Don’t download it or use it. ### 1/5 — Could this be any less useful? *2023-07-06, version 2.3.5* Once you connect with the app and set a schedule, you lose manual control of the device. There's no "on" button on the app. So if you want your device to turn on outside of scheduled hours, you have to add that time to your schedule and it's a whole process. Also, the Bluetooth strength is abysmal (I guess that's more of a hardware issue). I find myself having to walk up to the diffuser with my phone in my hand to change it several times a day... This app creates more problems than it solves. I'd rather just let the thing run a pay a little more for oil. Also, UI/UX feels like something made by school children. I expected much more from the app companion to a very pricey home product like this one. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2023-07-02, version 2.3.5* These diffusers are too expensive for the app not to pick up the diffusers after a few months. I have two diffusers, and I had to download the app more than once to get it to pick up one of them and now it’s not picking up the other one over Bluetooth. I tried to get them going and opened the app only to find out it no longer works. Extremely frustrating to have these expensive diffusers and a junk app. Will never buy Aromatech again based on the horrible interface. ### 1/5 — Horrible Update! *2023-05-13, version 2.3.5* The app was amazing when you could set the scent duration and interval. With the update they did several months ago they took that feature away. Our home was dialed in with the perfect amount of scent. We had reached a perfect balance of scent and duration. With the “update” they took away the best feature for what I can only think is a money grab. Our scent bottles would last about 3 months before the update. Now we are getting a bottle about every month and a half. So now we are spending twice as much and the house is over powering strong. We have started to just unplug the unit since we no longer have the accrue control over the scent frequency. DEVELOPERS- BRING BACK THE TIME AND DURATION CONTROLS!!!! ### 1/5 — Too basic *2023-05-10, version 2.3.5* For a “smart” machine the app does not allow for much customization. You can only set a schedule and can’t really customize the frequency or intensity. The app only allows you to select a number which doesn’t explain what the number means as far as frequency of sprays or the timing of when the sprays will go off. ### 1/5 — Functionality is non-existent *2023-02-07, version 2.3.5* You can set several different schedules and scent intensities. That’s all. I opted for the Bluetooth option so that I could control my unit remotely. Turn it on/off and set the intensity from another room in addition to scheduling. Why wouldn’t the app developers include this option? Seems rather intuitive. It’s not as sophisticated as I had hoped. I was very happy with the older version and this one basically doesn’t work for my two aromini bt diffusers…great… ### 1/5 — Scenting App Not Working after iOS update *2023-01-10, version 2.3.5* I’ve tried multiple times on my iPad and on my phone and I can’t seem to get the Scenting app to connect to the diffuser at all. This used to work but I noticed it stopped working after upgrading to iOS 16. I’ve also had multiple issues with the diffuser and even sent it back while it was under warranty and the correspondence through email was less than helpful to put it nicely. ### 1/5 — App not working! *2023-01-06, version 2.3.5* I received my two AT600 devices 3 week ago and your app hasn’t worked yet. The Bluetooth scheduling app was the main reason why I choose this specific scenting machine. Car diffusers don’t work (I’ve tried two now). Oils are great but WILDLY over priced. First off, this is a Bluetooth app not Wifi, which means you have to be within range of the device to conect. So there goes connectivety issue. Second, its designed to do two things: 1. Control scent intensity. 2. Set hours of operation. That's it! I have mutiple divices with zero issues. I have the aromini BT, and everyone is amazed by it - and we live in Beverly Hills. No issues with this device whatsoever and the app is great. Simple. ### 5/5 — Works fine for me *2020-12-24, version 1.6* Despite a bunch of reviews to the contrary, I haven’t had any problems with this app. Connects every time, settings stay the way I set them, and the device (AroMini BT) emits scent according the schedules I created. The acknowledgment beep is unnecessary and probably a bit louder than it needs to be, but that’s not a huge problem since the scheduling allows me to set it and forget it.
