## What is Schama?

Schama organizes your 3D file collection, 3D printing, modeling, scans, right on your iPhone and iPad, without ever duplicating your files unless you ask it to.

WHY SCHAMA
Whether you print in 3D, model, or archive scans, your .stl, .3mf, .usdz, .obj and other files end up scattered across Files, iCloud Drive, and download folders. Schama brings them together in a single, searchable, organized catalog, without ever locking your files into a closed silo. They stay right where they are; Schama simply references them.

Schama requires no account, tracks no activity, and collects no personal data beyond what's strictly necessary to sync through your own iCloud account.


## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-08

The example models can now be removed in a single action, from Settings. They do not come back on the next launch.

That removal only touches the files Schama installed. A model you had imported yourself under the same name, a 3DBenchy for instance, could disappear from the catalog along with them. It no longer can.

Examples no longer duplicate themselves from one device to another when the catalog syncs through iCloud.

The Licences screen, in About, lists the licences of the components and models shipped with the app.

Under the hood, Schama has moved to Swift 6 with strict concurrency, groundwork that rules out a whole family of concurrent access errors.
