(Of course, to sync with your calendar using the web browser version, you have to select Sync Calendar on My Profile > Pilot) I do have the app, but only to look at my schedule, since it keeps your login credentials, which is nice. Going through the web portal all the time requires a sign-in every time. ### 2/5 — Crashes on login *2022-04-03, version 2.64* Crashes on login with new iOS update. ### 3/5 — Works for me *2021-09-20, version 2.64* Just had to reinstall the app as the saved credentials no longer worked (they did on the website); after the re-install it worked as before. My main usability complaint is that the left column and top row are not fixed when scrolling through a big schedule, like the Freeze Panes function in major spreadsheet applications. But by and large any dedicated app is usually better than their webpage versions. ### 2/5 — It NEEDS FIX *2019-10-18, version 2.50* The new update didn’t even fix up the problem when choosing time to schedule the time for the airplane or instructor. I still have to go to the website to schedule. Ex: you can’t pick 7am or 1pm. ### 1/5 — They took an already bad app and made it worse. *2018-12-23, version 2.0.3* Not intuitive and cumbersome to use. When you open the app, the home screen is blank. You have to tap on the menu button just to load the daily schedule. They took out the ability to skip forward and back by week, which I used a lot. If you want to skip ahead to a specific date by tapping on the calendar, it gives you a scroll wheel with no days of the week listed. Furthermore, my school schedules by odd hour blocks (i.e.: 11am-1pm, 1pm-3pm etc.) but the app allows only even hour blocks (12pm-2pm, 2pm - 4pm) rendering the app basically useless for scheduling. All I can use it for since the update is viewing my upcoming scheduled sessions and cancelling. What ever instructors and/or aircraft you want to see has to be set up as a “custom” schedule on the desktop. Want to see an instructor you don’t normally work with? You can’t. You have to get on the computer or iPad to change it. This isn’t new, but a crappy feature from the previous versions. I wish my school would just switch to a different system already. ### 1/5 — Pretty much ruined the app *2018-11-12, version 2.0.1* I’ve been using this app for about a year and a half and it’s always worked just fine, then the update happened where the whole portal got re-designed an now it doesn’t show the day of the week corresponding with the date and I can’t schedule something that starts after one reservation ends (e.g. if I want to go from 11-1 but someone has booked 9-11 and 1-3, it won’t let me book the 11-1 spot because it’s “already been locked down” and this is three weeks out so it’s not locked down and works on my computer browser no problem) I don’t have access to a computer all the time and it’s much easier to be able to use it on my phone, which has never been a problem until this horrendous update. Please fix it, it’s interfering with my schedule more than it’s helping. ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work! *2018-11-05, version 2.0* Couldn’t even log in... after I imputed my credentials it showed the initializing symbol but nothing happened. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2018-11-04, version 2.0* Since starting to use the schedulepointe system the IOS app has always been difficult to use. Now it is simply unusable. Starts and terminates immediately. It crashes all the time you cannot add pilots through your phone only through the desktop version and if there’s not a strong Internet connection, the app does not work. I completely disagree. Yes the home screen is blank when it is on programmed. You simply hit the three lines at the top right hand corner select my schedule and that’s it. From this point you schedule your aircraft it populates what is available and you punch in your time you want. It is so simple and easy I guarantee you my five-year-old can do it.
