My own “complaint” or “suggestion” is that I wish the markers were stackable and not side by side otherwise I would give this app a 5 star. Please make that an option! ### 3/5 — Calendar events *2024-01-19, version 6.1.2* After the last update all of my scheduled events disappeared. Even if I add one, it does show up. No iCal events show up in Scheduler any more!!!! ### 5/5 — Excellent *2023-04-01* I’ve been a long time user of the original UK Rota app. As a train driver it’s invaluable to me to have easy access to my shifts and to help me plan. Scheduler has brought the experience bang up to date and a lot of work has gone into giving users the features they really need. I highly recommend it to anyone working shifts and it really is a game changer in helping me plan my life. ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-12-11, version 6.0.15* Perfect app for shift workers. Love the ability to track trades, PTO, appointments. ### 3/5 — Needs some work *2022-10-27, version 6.0.13* I can’t get the vacation balance to stay updated. When I add new vacation leave dates, the balance goes crazy and some different numbers generate. Can’t track use of leave. ### 4/5 — Not sure I like the new update *2022-10-26* I have been using this app for about 10 years now. I’m not a fan of the updated look. Still giving it a shot tho. **Developer response:** That was a rare, one-time bug, probably due to crossing a timezone. If you have a date issue, please contact me. The updated look is better because you can pick whatever colors you want, not just one of 16 presets. There are more colors in version 6, not just 16 presets. ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2022-05-21* I’m a firefighter in the U.K. and don’t use a lot of the features on the app, however it’s great once you’ve set it up and easy to use. I can put my bankers and annual in in different colours, dots to highlight events tied in with my main calendar and Jeff is brilliant at replying if you have a query you can’t work out yourself. ### 3/5 — Last update changed everything *2022-05-20* I have had this app for years and always loved it. The recent update changed things. The event dots are very large and I’m not sure if there is a way to change the size. If you have multiple events on same day the dots are overwhelming. **Developer response:** Yes, there are many changes. But, for the better. The event dots are bigger in recent updates and you can set the size because people asked for that (please update your dot review). The old app was over a decade old and I could no longer make changes. The new app has the same features, plus you can pick whatever color you want for working days, etc. ### 4/5 — Loved it but new update changed it 😩 *2022-05-19* I loved the simplicity of the previous version, new one looks messy and not as easy to see with orange, green lines etc… how do I get the half oval green bits as seen on the pic here as that would look a look nicer and be easier to see when i have things on? Cheers ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-05-19* I’ve used this app forever. I wasn’t thrilled with the update on the appearance but it appears that they’ve fixed that. Retired last year and I still use it almost as much as I did before. I got rid of so much stuff from the job, but this is one thing I’m going to hang onto. Kind of nice being able to see when the old shift is on or off so we can catch up. ### 5/5 — HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for LEOs *2022-05-18* First off, THANK YOU Jeff for the recent updates!!! I’ve worked shift work (rotating days off, platoon, fixed 4-10s) for 15 years. I came across this app in 2009. I took a chance and bought this app. I have used it since. It has everything you need to map out your work schedule. I’m a visual person so this app allows me to customize my calendar with color and markings. It’s not hard to use. You can always email Jeff for assistance. Updated recently and lost all of my events. Don’t bother unless you want to lose everything. ### 1/5 — ABorisdrone *2023-12-18* It’s an ok app, but constantly getting messages to say I need to update to a newer version, sometimes getting 3 or 4 of them a day. Even after chatting with the app developers it keeps happening, very frustrated. ### 1/5 — Repeating events *2023-01-01* I used to love this app, but not anymore. My repeating events just delete itself for some reasons. I entered my repeating events several times but after several they all disappear ### 1/5 — Scheduler6 *2022-06-07* Before the new update this app was amazing the way it displayed my overtime and vacation was great . Since the new update it changed all my custom setting and there is no option to go back to the way it was . I don’t recommend this app at all now ### 1/5 — Updates *2022-05-28, version 6.0.4* This app was amazing prior to these most recent updates. Go back to the old version! ### 1/5 — OT nightmare *2022-05-24* Overtime entry used to be simple. Bank Overtime to be used for time-off later? Enter it as “OT” and it gets added to accumulated hours. Does your Banked overtime get automatically get paid out after 180 days? Enter “OT” but with a “-“ value and it subtracts the amount of hours you enter from the total. Did you work overtime on the same day as when 180 day-old overtime gets automatically paid out? Enter one “Trade” as “+ 12 hours” and another Trade as “-12 hours” and you can have these 2 “Trades” show in the logbook. Now though? Not possible. It does not allow 2 trades on the same day. Also, the default “Red” colour always has to be reset. ### 1/5 — What Happened?? *2022-05-13* Worse upgrade ever. Use to love scheduler now will never use again. Graphics are terrible ### 1/5 — Terrible update!!! *2022-05-12* I’ve been using the original app for several years with no problems. After this update everything has been messed up. The appearance change is okay but the old one was okay too. When the recent update occurred most information transferred correctly but slot didn’t. The overtime, vacation usage and accrual and sick time usage and accrual were all incorrect. Hopefully they can get this figured out soon, because it would be helpful to know how much vacation I have available before scheduling it. Maybe they could revert back to the old version until they work out the gremlins. **Developer response:** Recent updates fixed bugs and should have resolved your OT, Vacation, accrual and other data issues. ### 1/5 — Update Schedule 6 *2022-05-11, version 6.0* I hate the update you just did! Most of my information is on incorrect days or the information didn’t transfer (special occasions). I would’ve given this a 5 stars until this update. It takes some time to get it setup but once you learn the app, it’s the best. I work an irregular schedule with a ton of overtime. This keeps everything organized and helps me self-audit OT hours to make sure I’m getting paid. Worth every penny. ### 5/5 — Great for shift working couple! *2025-05-17* Works great! Worth every penny. It really helps. I now know when my wife and I are working years from now. My wife and I are both shift workers with odd schedules that repeat. I had been looking for an app to keep track of both schedules and this does it. I’ve been using this app for many years. It’s one of the best app purchases I’ve made. The setup of schedules does take a little time and effort, but the tutorial mode walks you through it. I later emailed Jeff with a couple of minor issues and suggestions. He got back to me the same day! Most tweaks are already on the way and he solved my issues by showing me other ways to use the app. He really wants to get it right. Great support. Highly Recommended. Would still like to see a drag and drop feature for swapped shifts and an optional list view but on a whole it’s great. ### 5/5 — Great app. *2025-01-26, version 6.1.2* I’ve had this app for years and love it…highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Great calendar *2024-11-21* I have a 8 day rotation with the fire dept.. 1 day on 2 days off 1 day on 3 days off. Once I set the rotation, it goes on for years and years. I’m able to see my schedule years ahead. Also, it is connected to my Apple calendar. When I make appointments on my Apple calendar, it’s linked to this one. I’ve been using this calendar for 15 years. I hope to use it 15 more. ### 5/5 — Best App for shift workers *2024-06-03* I have had this app for several years. I use it to schedule several jobs. All of which are shift work. This app has been OUTSTANDING for letting me know where I need to be and when I need to be there. For Emergency Service workers this app is a MUST HAVE! ### 5/5 — Great app but where did the emojis go? *2024-01-30* My husband and I have rotational shifts and so this app is a life saver for us. But to keep the clutter down of events I prefer to use emojis for the event title. That option seems to have gone away? Why?! It’s frustrating having so many events titled on one day and I tend to miss something if I don’t read each one carefully. I preferred using emojis to keep it easier and with less clutter. Also PLEASE get rid of the time zones!!!!! It doesn’t matter where I am when I put an appointment in my calendar, the time of the appointment is still the same no matter where I am. I can make the mental hour change myself if I know I’m in a different time zone but at least I’ll know what time the appointment is! I downloaded it originally when I was on rotating shift work and it really helped me manage my schedule at a quick glance. I’ve had two occasions to email the developer for assistance and in both instances I received a reply within minutes. Also in each instance my issue was resolved. Great app! ### 5/5 — Great little app *2023-06-02* Great little app once you get it all up and running, though this takes quite a bit of time and effort. But the pain is well worth it I am a uk train driver and I now have my entire roster input into this app and I can click on any rostered duty to see the details from from the duty book. Fabulous. My partner now has this on her phone and I was able to transfer the data from my app to hers seamlessly. ### 5/5 — Best Scheduling App *2023-04-01* I am a Train Driver in the Uk and have used this app for my shift duties. I can honestly say that this is such a brilliant app that I think it’s probably one of the best I have on my phone as I use it every day. I can input my duties, rest days & annual leave and also O/T & notes and when I tap on a particular day I can have an image/pdf of my duty for that day.
