It’s always working and it’s actually so cool how I can keep track of my laundry. Start the machine with a mobile app; the reader beeps once, but the machine is not started. Then you have to redo the process and pay again. Unfortunately, I missed the first few times and over the past year, it’s happened numerous times. Scheffres knows about the issue as it is a common bug for its outdated software. However, there is no notice and they require you to go through a long process to get refunded like they know people may give up. What a deceptive business practice! ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-02-13, version 2.27.3* The app is ridiculously slow. The contact support functionality is useless. Overall, terrible user experience. I used them for the first and last time. The washing machine broke in the first five minutes and I called the customer service center. They didn't answer for half an hour. I took the clothes and washed them outside. The app has many great features, but they count for nothing if the connection doesn’t work. I sometimes have to spend an extra 30 minutes fighting with the machine to just start. I understand this issue has been called in several times by different people in our building. ### 2/5 — Appliance repair *2025-01-07* So I spend $2.50 for normal charge to dry a load. But I have to pay additional $1.75 to assure my load is dry. And the normal dryer time is only 45 minutes but my clothes are never fully dry. This is to expensive. Our original dryers were $1.50 for 1 hour and loads were completely dry. These new front washers are so fast and really cleans your clothes. As for the dryers they are super fast too. I literally can wash a load before work and go… I think overall the best highlight to me is “There’s an App for that” lol Yes, everything is on the app!
