No response from the company or app developers shows they either don’t care about a bad product or are inept at their job and unable to fix the problem! New smart thermostat for our heated floor. Download the new app because of course you can’t use the same app. Open the app, give it permission to send notifications and use my location. All I get is a blank white screen. No login screen. No icons. Nothing. Tried multiple devices. iPhone. iPad. Reinstalled. Rebooted my devices. Nothing. Did get the thermostat to connect to my Apple home app, but that gives very limited functionality. Come on, Schluter. It’s 2025. HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE $ per KWH? Why is there no video to help or manual or anything. This app is a glorified programming program for the thermostat and that is it. We paid several thousand dollars for a heated floor in our bathroom and its essentially useless schluter is garbage. It takes 6 hours for the floor to heat up 8 degrees. Yes it is garbage. I actually got it sort of configured but there is a bug in that I can configure my home but the thermostat is not set as a device. So you can’t control it. No way to add the thermostat as a device because it is already wifi configured. Finally just gave up. Don’t waste your time. Schluter you need to do better ### 1/5 — does not work *2024-10-12, version 1.2.6* For a company that charges absolutely insane prices for their product this app is an absolute disgrace and disappointment for a company of the size. They should be absolutely embarrassed. When you download the app there is nowhere to create an account. I created a account at schlueter.com but that does not sync up with this app software. sCHLUETER is closed on the weekends so no luck calling them. To top it off I pulled the screen protector off the thermostat and the residue will not wipe off even with goo gone. after installing this entire system in my bathroom what an absolute letdown upon execution of firing everything up. ### 1/5 — If I knew how impossible this app is before I bought the heating. I wouldve chosen a different brand *2024-09-27, version 1.2.6* I’ve tried this app and the other app that mysteriously could also operate my thermostat. I couldn’t log into either one. It said that my confirmation email address and confirmation password were not the same and yet they’re clearly identical. There is no other option for me, but to keep trying, and it keeps failing I would paste the screenshot here if that was possible. I tried setup twice, so about 15 minute wasted trying to get this app to work. You might not think that’s a big deal, but when 95% of the other apps I use perform this step in about 30 seconds to a minute compared to this app, getting me to a dead end, I’m not going to continue the same thing hoping something’s going to be different I hope you can appreciate why I’m dropping attempts to control the temperature by the phone all together. If I knew about this before I chose your Flooring system I wouldn’t of bought it. You have to understand that the software is what makes the product good. If the software sucks, no one‘s going to buy it. Please just test your app and try to reduce the amount of key strokes and reliability. The device connected to my WiFi but the app would not connect. I tried the system reset (turning the circuit breaker off for 30 sec - I did 5 minutes) but it just reconnected to the WiFi and the app again wouldn’t connect. There’s no manual way to set a schedule. I’m having our contractor replace it with a different one. ### 1/5 — Geofencing crash *2025-12-03, version 1.2.6* The app crashes when trying to set geofencing on iOS 26.1 iPhone 16 Max Pro ### 1/5 — Worked for two months *2025-11-23, version 1.2.6* This app stopped working after two months. I’ve tried resetting it reinstalling. This app did not recognize my account. The other, less popular app named DITRA-HEAT Wifi worked fine. ### 1/5 — Crashing when you try to use Geofence *2025-10-21, version 1.2.6* Been broken for a while. They just don’t care. App crashes when you try to use GEO fence on multiple devices. Unloading and reinstalling the app does nothing. ### 1/5 — Absolute Trash App Lacking Reasonable Functionality *2025-10-09, version 1.2.6* Instructions online are all over the place, you can’t seem to do anything unless you find a way to first disconnect the device from wifi before setting up again in the app itself. Of course information online about how to disconnect from wifi is wrong. Include some basic functionality in the app please. I haven’t used an app this bad in a very long time. It’s way worse than even niche apps I use for very obscure stuff. I guess I’ll have to continue wasting my time trying to reset this after accidentally setting up with HomeKit since that locked me out of using the system in the app and therefore from using it with any other home automation as well until I can get this app to see it. ### 1/5 — Can’t even open the app *2025-08-17, version 1.2.6* Like the title said, new iPhone, latest iOS, the app won’t even open. I prepared for the worst, but surprisingly happy that I now have flawless access to floor. Yes, linking to thermostat was a bit wonky, but patiently waited through lengthy update and “connection to device”. Unlike Carrier HVAC thermostat app, remote access and temp changes are almost immediately updated (both ways) on app and thermostat.
