### 1/5 — Don’t buy sense home monitor until the build a new app

*2026-05-18, version 1.14.10*

Terrible is too good of a word for this app. Go back to the wiser original app. I had everything I needed to see with that. This one is useless and aggravating.

### 1/5 — Does not monitor power

*2026-05-16, version 1.14.10*

Receptacle power monitor function does not work. No real time or historical data available in app.

To Square D support: Please expedite software / firmware fix of this known problem.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-05-10, version 1.14.10*

Surprising from Schneider / owner of the Square D brand. I made the purchase decision based on brand, but this is worse than any amazon-purchased product you can imagine. Hard to believe a company like that would put out such a terrible product. The reviews are correct. In my case, I bought two -- one for myself and one for a neighbor. The first one failed during setup. The second one got farther, but the app is stuck in an "endless loop" saying, alternately "device not setup", and then "device setup successful". Can't get past it. Hours wasted.

### 1/5 — Terrible - don’t buy

*2026-04-17, version 1.14.10*

Absolutely terrible product - Wiser was great and then Square D took the app over and made it terrible. Absolutely hate it since the change

### 1/5 — Horrible App with no improvements.

*2026-04-15, version 1.14.10*

This app has a rating of 1.2 stars only because 1 is the lowest star rating you can give it. So essentially it is a 0.2 rating. Do not buy these power monitor devices because the Apps to run them are useless.

### 1/5 — Still complete garbage

*2026-04-04, version 1.14.10*

If you setup through the home app on iOS you don’t need this…however, you may not get firmware updates. This app should provide a mode to scan what exists rather than trying to re-enroll everything.

### 1/5 — Incredibly poor

*2026-03-23, version 1.14.10*

I bought a Sense monitor with solar and was using the sense app with no problems. Suddenly I was notified that the Schneider app would be needed. Downloaded, got working, not even close to what the Sense app would do.

But that doesn’t even matter now because it went “offline” and hasn’t been usable for months. Schneider support did nothing for me. I emailed, sent screen shots of errors, etc. and all they could tell me was sorry they couldn’t help.

I have power cycled so many times and tried reconnecting it to my network, no go!! And Schneider was no help. None. This morning, months later, I decided to try yet again. Now the app won’t even go the the website for me to log in. Came here in case there’s an update for the app. Of course not.

No wonder they have a 1 star rating. It would be a zero if I had a choice. They clearly don’t care and I have just wasted my money. I only had this unit a few months when this started happening. They didn’t even offer to provide a warranty unit.

Avoid, save yourself the headache. If I ever get real technical support or a solution, I’ll repost, but don’t hold your breath.

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2026-03-21, version 1.14.10*

I used to use the Wiser Home app, but that was replaced with this unusable thing. The main problem is that the QR code reader doesn’t allow you to adjust the zoom or focus to read the QR code on the switches.

### 1/5 — Huge step down from sense

*2026-03-19, version 1.14.10*

I used to be on Sense app and then Wiser but was forced to get this app due to the model of my energy use device. Very poor app with WAY less user friendly data. Does not learn devices like sense, very difficult to trend overall solar production levels and live usage data….considering spending money on a new energy monitoring device so I can use a different App! Haven’t seen any improvements in app since launch

### 1/5 — Sense to Schneider Electric

*2026-03-16, version 1.14.10*

This app is complete garbage. Not able to use it. It provides no valuable information, fails to find electric devices like the sense app used to. We deserve our money back or give us the Sense app and UI back. This is terrible.

### 1/5 — I want wiser app back

*2026-03-15, version 1.14.10*

The wiser energy app was much more intuitive and easy to use. The SchneiderHome app is too complicated and difficult to understand.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-03-03, version 1.14.10*

Old Sense App was much better I dont have much features here and app doesnt work majority of time

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-03-01, version 1.14.10*

This app is horrible. Sense was so much more user friendly.

### 1/5 — Horrible app. Solar at night?

*2026-02-23, version 1.14.10*

It’s telling me I have solar running in the middle of the night. The UI is horrible and does not work so many calls into the Support and no results at all. I would rate it lower than 1 star but can’t.

### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible trash

*2026-02-21, version 1.14.10*

Absolutely trash. Will not connect to devise.

### 1/5 — TERRIBLE

*2026-02-21, version 1.14.10*

Schneider decide to change over to this from the old application and it SUCKS. BRING BACK THE OLD APP AND GIVE THE USERS SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AND IS USEFUL!!!!

### 1/5 — App destroys functionality of compenents

*2026-02-19, version 1.14.10*

I have a Wiser Energy monitor, the Schneider home app is less useful and stable than the original sense app. The app also refuses to connect with the Matter enabled Smart Switches and outlets. Can still use them with Apple home but doesn’t provide the energy monitoring functionality. Overall very disappointing and wish I had chosen a different energy monitoring system. The hardware seems fine this app kills it.

### 1/5 — JUNK

*2026-02-12, version 1.14.10*

No longer serves any useful purpose. They ruined a great product. I only chose Schneider because I assumed they wouldn’t ruin a good thing like other less reputable brands. Boy was I wrong. I will no longer support any Schneider Product!

### 1/5 — App is broken

*2026-02-11, version 1.14.10*

Schneider app needs to be updated you can’t add devices to it. Was told to use smart hub because the QR adding process is broken. We purchased to use the advertised energy monitoring function of the SE app, but can’t.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I miss Wiser…………

*2026-08-17, version 1.14.10*

I gave the new app a chance. Talk about going backwards. I think they made the Schneider version in a day. They couldn’t just transfer over the old app and put their name on it? Sad. It’s missing so many basic features. They don’t even have the line voltages. Everything important seems missing. Super basic and no landscape mode. I guess they never heard of an IPad. This thing is getting chucked in the garbage and I’m an electrical contractor. Looking elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Poor app

*2026-07-29, version 1.14.10*

Wish they didn’t change to this useless app, don’t even use the square D home energy monitor anymore, won’t learn new appliances

### 1/5 — Cmon

*2026-07-28, version 1.14.10*

Please rollback to the old UI where it was somewhat reasonable to understand. You have got to get this app fixed. Constant connectivity issues as well as a completely unintelligent design makes this worthy of no stars.

### 1/5 — Does not work with brand new x series dimmers

*2026-07-27, version 1.14.10*

App is useless will not connect to dimmers tried all trouble shooting steps. Just pay more and avoid square D if you want a mater device

### 1/5 — Crickets

*2026-07-24, version 1.14.10*

At this point, I’d rather go back to PG&E.
System doesn’t run right .Schneider support doesn’t even even know what system I have.

### 1/5 — Can’t sync dimmer w/o QR code

*2026-07-21, version 1.14.10*

Dont lose the sticker with the QR code on it because there is no functionality to manually add a dimmer…

### 1/5 — My kid could prompt a better app that this.

*2026-06-30, version 1.14.10*

As all the reviews say they took a working app and gave us this garbage. Won’t even buy anything from them again.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2026-06-10, version 1.14.10*

Previous app was great. Whoever designed this, contemplated this and approved this should be fired.
I wish I could leave no star. Shame on you

### 1/5 — Made Our Sense Monitor Useless!

*2026-05-27, version 1.14.10*

This forced app change has been a horrible experience! The company promised it would keep our Sense monitors up and going, but I can’t even get the app to read the monitor- it gets stuck in a “monitor setup required” loop and never gets past that step. Have tried reaching out to support multiple times, with zero response. Highly disappointed.

### 1/5 — Pile of garbage

*2026-05-24, version 1.14.10*

Sense app worked great with wiser monitor. Then the migration to wiser app from sense was a nightmare. Then another migration to the Schneider home app which has no support is impossible to use and app is stuck in a loop never detecting the actual meter and then saying it did detect it and then failing again. In the meantime there is zero support. Please don’t buy a consumer software company if you are a lumbering dog of a hardware company with no interest in supporting a functional monitoring product. Like why not har just left good enough alone?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Decent app

*2026-05-12, version 1.14.10*

Despite all the reviews once you have the app up and running, it is very useful - power graphs, historical activity is correct and informative.

### 5/5 — A+ for the latest update, looking slick!

*2025-05-15*

I've been testing out Schneider Home for a few weeks now, and it's growing on me fast. I hooked up a couple of X-Series Matter outlets, and they connected without a hitch—nice to see hardware actually just work for once.

The app itself is slick. No clunky screens, no endless settings menus. It’s got that rare combo of being simple without feeling stripped down. I especially appreciate the manual rate entry—I’m with SoCal Edison in San Diego, and the ability to plug in my own tariff details by climate zone makes the budgeting tool way more accurate for my setup.

It’s not perfect (no app is)—push notifications are missing, but on the way according to support, which is exciting if you’re like me and trying to stay on top of outages or energy shifts in real-time. Would love to see that get added in a future update.

Still, I’m impressed. If this is the foundation, the future’s looking bright.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend!

*2025-01-28*

I’m currently shopping for a solar setup and decided to compare apps from different providers to see how user-friendly they are. After testing a few, Schneider Home stood out by a mile. The Live Energy demo is what won me over—it’s so easy to see how their system works in real time. No other app I tried came close to this level of usability.

After using the app for some time, I felt confident enough to schedule an installer for my first solar panel! If the system works as smoothly as the app, I know I’ll be in good hands. Highly recommend this app to anyone exploring solar!

### 5/5 — Clean Design and Super User-Friendly!

*2025-01-28*

Schneider Home is a solid app for managing energy systems. Compared to SunPower, the user experience here is much more intuitive and streamlined. The layout is clean, and everything is easy to navigate without digging through menus or getting lost.

It’s clear a lot of thought went into making this app accessible for all users, whether you’re a tech-savvy energy enthusiast or just getting started with smart home energy systems. The app makes it simple to monitor and manage energy usage, and the responsiveness is top-notch.

I’d love to see even more advanced features added over time, but overall, Schneider Home makes energy management feel effortless. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great Visualizations and Easy to Use!

*2025-01-28*

Schneider Home has been a fantastic addition to my smart energy setup. The app’s visualizations are super intuitive and way more polished than what you’ll find in Enphase. The way it breaks down energy usage, solar production, and storage is not only detailed but also beautifully designed, making it much easier to understand my home’s energy flow at a glance.

I also appreciate how responsive the app is—it feels snappy and well-built. There’s always room for improvement (like adding more customization options for reports), but overall, Schneider Home sets a new standard for energy monitoring apps. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Beautifully designed app

*2025-01-24*

I had Tesla on my old house and I couldn’t tell if my solar was working or not. This app has a live energy flow that shows exactly what is going on in my house at a glance. I know how much energy my solar is producing and how much power I am consuming from the grid. It has opened my eyes to my energy spend. Now I need to add a battery!!

### 4/5 — Nothing works

*2025-09-24, version 1.14.6*

Going back to Sense, had to buy another monitor, not big deal about money spent but lost all my data and have to start over. Also, waisted some money on 6 Schneider outlets that aren’t longer supported. Unbelievable and unacceptable

### 4/5 — Really bad app… bring back sense app

*2025-09-03, version 1.14.6*

This has to be the worst app I own. It only worked for a couple of weeks since the sense Schneider transfer. Even then, the curve was outright wrong. The interface is also bad to boot. It’s so bad that I am seriously considering replacing it with a Chinese knockoff. At least it was good and saved me a lot of issues when I used it with the sense app.

### 4/5 — Still not working

*2025-08-26*

Got the upgrade app a few months back everything stopped working. Got the update the other day and at least now I get a password reset. But now I login and it’s just locked up.
I love getting data, but this application and this device has been a bumpy ride. Hopefully they’ll get it straightened out otherwise I’ll need to remove it from my panel.
I’m gonna trust they get the app cleaned up and stick with it. For now

### 3/5 — Good but vast room for improvement

*2024-08-08*

I do like the look and feel of the application. At present the AI device discovery is garbage. It had identified 4 AC units when I only have two. There is no way to merge or delete discovered devices. I do like the ability to add X-Series Matter enabled switches and outlets. My initial test ones work well. I plan on updating my entire home. I can’t speak to the solar integration yet since I have not added solar to my home, however I expect that will work well. My biggest issue is the “powered by sense” AI.
