Hnefatafl (Viking chess), Alquerque+, Rithmomachia, Nine Men's Morris, and Fox and Geese - five ancient and medieval strategy board games in one app. Learn a classic historical game in minutes, sharpen your tactics, and play offline or online.

THE GAMES

Hnefatafl (Viking Chess / Tafl)
An asymmetric medieval siege game on an 11x11 board. One side defends a king and races for the corners; the other surrounds and captures.

Alquerque+
A fast jump-capture elimination game on a 6x6 line grid - the ancient ancestor of checkers and draughts.

Rithmomachia (The Philosophers' Game)
A medieval math strategy game on an 8x16 board. Capture by Value, Distance, or Addition, then set a Triumph in enemy territory. Unlocks with a one-time Scholar's Library purchase.

Nine Men's Morris
The classic mill game on a 24-point board. Place your nine pieces, line up three to take an enemy piece, then slide - and fly once you are down to three. Unlocks with a one-time Scholar's Library purchase.

Fox and Geese
An asymmetric hunt on a cross-shaped board. One jumping fox against seventeen geese: pen the fox in, or eat your way out. Unlocks with a one-time Scholar's Library purchase.
