Are there any plans to make it available on the Apple Watch? It would be great to have a complication that showed how much time left before the next bell. Thanks!! Still love this app. Would love it more if I could see it on my Apple Watch! The functionality is awesome. But the new blue gradient background looks pretty bad. Especially red buttons on blue background. I much preferred the cleaner look with a white background. I love this app and it works great. I use it everyday. The app noticed the time zone change (from US central to US eastern) but instead of changing one hour, it changed 54 minutes. 8:00 became 8:54. That does not make any sense. Our school has three different schedules on different days, one with 9 periods. I can edit it, but will have to do it again when we go back to our home time zone. New update says it supports changing time zones. I won’t know until January if that is so. Upping to 4 stars until then. 5 if it works! No matter which chime is picked, the air horn is played instead. Was working fine until current update. Now it is working again with latest as of release Dec 5 . My school stopped using bells 3 years ago and most of our staff now uses this app. However, now that the update went through you cannot change the sound of the chimes. I have tried EVERYTHING to get it to save to the only bell ringing sound. It will only play Westminster Chimes now. This makes it easy to multitask as a parent working from home while ensuring my child is also on task. What would make this even better is if there were an easy way to share schedules between parents. I made sure my silent mode was turned off and the bells still don't ring. (Feb. 5) Please turn off Silent/Sleep mode and tap the start button. If some chimes do not play, please restart your device or reinstall the app. Check chime test in the settings screen. (Jan. 20) It is a feature that appears after removing ads.” I paid for the app. I reinstalled it like it said and it worked once. Had to re add the schedule. Again. I have done this. The chime works when I test it but it doesn’t work when I hit start. I downloaded the app because my school transitioned to online learning and I needed something to keep me on track and aware. This is not the app to choose. You only get about 5 options for bell layouts and can not customize your own. My school had pretty odd times with a 5 minute transition in between each period. Please fix it. I’ve selected certain bells (which worked perfectly all school year, but the new update keeps playing the wrong bells. It’s very useful in keeping me at the right place at the right time. I also like how easy is to make changes to the schedule, and to keep multiple schedules. The chimes are clear and louder than the iPhone alarms. The ability to modify each day allows for different schedules. I found the $2.99 fee was worth not having distracting ads. To save the schedule, you need to tap the save button. If you close the screen with a swipe, changes will be discarded. Best online school schedule app. I use the app for both of my children’s schedules. One is in high school and the other in middle school. They have 3 different schedules and 9 classes in one week. This app helps them check into their appropriate remote classes on time. Kids are in remote learning due to the schools closing because of the increase cases of COVID-19 in my state. This app has been very helpful at helping my kids check in their online classes on time. The different tones are great. Only problem I have with this app is you can’t get app support. Their website for support is confusing and I can’t contact them for support. Also, since the last updated, the chime you choose doesn’t work. It plays only the default chime. When you choose the chime you want and save it, it still plays the default chime when the alarm goes off. ### 5/5 — Helps keep my 6th grader on track *2020-08-26, version 1.3.8* I bought this for my son to help him keep track of his remote learning schedule. I like how you can add a custom schedule and choose different bell chimes. I’ve used it for the last few days and it works like a charm. My only recommendation would be to provide the ability to choose the days the bells activate. Right now, I have to remember to turn it off on weekends and then enable it again on Monday. This is not a huge inconvenience, but maybe something to add on the next iteration of the app. ### 5/5 — How to chg time zone?! *2019-11-29, version 1.3.6* Update - thank you for responding with directions. This is such a helpful company with great products. I love this app and found it from the Dawn Alarm app, which I also love. The Dawn Alarm allows the time zone to be changed. Can the Schoolchime app also change time zones? I am not in Asia! My time zone is different.
