My kids actually love it…they can’t wait to see what adorable GIF they’ll get. I’m surprised we haven’t gotten very many repeat GIFs too! That’s helpful to keep them in anticipation. Couple thoughts for improvement: I wish there was a “night time” option. You could do so many features with this like auto screen dim, night time music while they get ready, hilarious sleepy animal or baby GIFs. Although…I realize the app is called Morning Routine. You’d probably have to tweak that. Also, this might be a dumb question…but can I transfer this app to my iPad? Or do I have to cancel my subscription on my iPhone and reinstate a new subscription on my iPad? My iPhone has a smaller screen so I am unable to have all my kids on one screen at once (large family problem). The kids call it “The list game” and they enjoy checking off each task to see the cute animal video at the end. It keeps them on track and the visual cue helps my early readers. Only suggestion for improvement would be the ability to reorder the tasks if you need kids to do them sequentially. I love how simple this is! ### 5/5 — Amazing! My kids love using it. *2022-02-15, version 1.0.6* I am a list nerd, so I loved this as soon as I saw it. My boys (4 and 7 years old) were so excited to use it and had set up their Avatars the night before. As soon as they woke up, they were excitedly getting their jobs done so that they could tick things off their lists and even encouraged each other, I didn’t have to give any reminders at all. They are already excitedly waiting for tomorrow. Now, with the app she is very excited to start the day and fulfill all the steps and see what gif will she get. Some recommendations: 1. Would be nice for kids to be able to collect the gifs they get every day in a sort of album. 2. We added some jobs to match our daughter routine but there are no cliparts for our common jobs, it would be good to either have a bigger clipart set or allow user upload an image of their choice for that. If any of these is too difficult, could you at least add “toilet” and “shower”? Just what I needed for the interface and accomplishing a daily routine tracker. My kids at first were confused by the timer, but realized it meant competition mode and love it. 🤣 I don’t mind paying for apps that are in development with updates, it supports the developer and helps someone creative build these useful apps. It would be great to have an annual discounted sub option though rather than just a reoccurring monthly charge. Have you created a night routine app? Or if the app had the option to have morning and night would be great in one. ### 5/5 — Perfect for my ADHD son *2022-06-20* This app has been such a lifesaver. The set up is super easy and fun for the kids to pick their characters, and parents can add extra tasks as well as the preloaded ones. My son now gets himself ready for the day without me having to nag at all. Seriously life changing. I’ve also recommended it to his SENCO teacher at school and they’ll be trying it for the classroom to help him self manage.
