However, when reviewing the weeks bookings (trips, after school clubs, movie nights) not all bookings come up or it comes up blank. If you make a booking in advance the only way you can double check after the fact is by looking in your emails for the confirmation as there’s no set place in the app to see. It would be so much easier to just be able to completely and reliably click on “my bookings” and see per day what has been booked. ### 1/5 — Cant create account *2025-06-24, version 5.4.27* There is no longer a create account page. Now a few weeks off the youngest child finishing primary school so that I won’t have to use it any more, they launch a significant update changing how you log in. In any case this time of year is by far the busiest in terms of school activities, and therefore comms. Why do these changes now? Couldn’t you wait until the summer holidays? I wish schools could just use the one app for everything. Of the bunch, School Spider seems to be the simplest and has proven the least frustrating to use as it doesn’t seem to be trying to do too much. ### 1/5 — Rubbish dojos better *2024-10-16, version 5.4.5* The app doesn’t load, keeps say wrong details when you have to log out for two different schools. It can’t find schools because it keeps erroring. Reset passwords and it doesn’t recognise them. I hate this app I wish schools would adopt a different app. The Worst school app ever invented! ### 1/5 — Terrible can never login *2024-10-14, version 5.4.5* Awful app you can’t do anything with it. It is always logging me off then throwing errors so you can’t access it. We are reliant as parents in the information within this site and most of the time I can’t access. Avoid ### 1/5 — AWFUL! SCHOOLS NEED TO AVOID *2024-10-01, version 5.4.5* Our school adopted this system to cut costs. It’s actually increased costs immeasurably due to the poor engines and therefore the huge increase in workload it’s caused parents and school staff. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2024-09-04, version 5.4.5* Our school appears to have moved recently to this, and the fact it’s got less than 3 stars in 82 reviews is worrying. I’ve been unable to even get the system to log on, despite having an email connected to the school my daughter attends, and having changed password twice. Credentials do not exist apparently. Really bad start and based on the other reviews unlikely to improve. ### 1/5 — Please do not use this at your school *2024-06-04, version 5.4.3* The app is poor and has made managing bookings and schooling a major hassle. The app provides zero feedback so requires constant maintenance and upkeep to ensure booking a etc. are made. Integration with tax free accounts is a pain! This means I need to know my username and password but they are my other half’s so no idea. Now I can’t book the breakfast club. Do they not read reviews beforehand? It is the WORST app I’ve ever encountered in my life. It never works, the notifications don’t work, it logs you out almost daily and you can’t log back in again because the ‘credentials do not exist’. Then to get that rectified you have to spend time trying to call the school office, explain what’s happened, then they have to do something there end and you have to wait for an email before you can log in again through a link they send you. Honestly it’s the biggest waste of time ever. I am currently locked out again, whilst the debt is going up for school activities because I can’t actually pay for them! Many of us parents nearly missed a trip the other day because there wasn’t a single notification about it and to find out any information you had to click through every option on the app. So many parents are having the same problem. Schools need to stay clear, it’s a waste of time and I imagine very costly for a service they simply can’t deliver. Oh wait, time is important to people and they don’t want to waste it trying to book breakfast clubs for the week and trying to fill in simple surveys? Huh… who would have thought? ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Useful app to manage all the admin in one place! *2025-06-17, version 5.4.27* My kids’ school uses this app for all their comms and payments (it also auto sends to personal email, so we do receive emails too). Overall it works well. Very easy to make and manage payments using ApplePay, and much easier to scan through old comms, rather than trawling the inbox.
