However, parents are often confused by the options when you need to make a change. There is a large check-out button, which seems like it should be used when I need to pick my child up from school early, but instead I need to press the small + button which lets me “add” a change of early pickup to my child’s attendance. This is confusing and it’s easy to forget or overlook the plus button when you only make occasional changes. ### 2/5 — Rough around the edges *2026-01-08, version 24.20.2* Usable as long as you stay in the beaten path. As soon as you are trying something new it can get really tedious, expected behavior is not intuitive, error messages are generic… ### 4/5 — No Carplay? But also promotes holding mobile devices in hand and scrolling through the app. The big buttons help but it also begs the question, why is there no way to use CarPlay? Great product, but remains unfinished until option for CarPlay is offered ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-09-02* If you have one school that uses this app I think it would work fine, but if you have kids at 2 different schools that use this app you will be yelling every obscenity in the dictionary. If you log into school 1 it logs you out of school 2 and then you have to reset your password for school 2. Once you rest your password for school 2 you are now logged out of school 1. To log back into school 1 you have to reset your password. Even if I could deal with this, half the time the password reset doesn’t work, through the app or online so then you can’t log into anything. I hate this app to the depth of my soul ### 4/5 — Great app, one change *2025-08-28* Great app, use it regularly without any issues. The one thing I would love for them to consider would be to have some kind of auto login. I have to remember and manually type in my password every time is an extra step that I would love to live without. It’s not a big deal, but the little things add up to be a huge convenience! It’s a very annoying glitch where the only way to use is to delete the app & download it again. There are constant issues logging in and forgetting passwords, having to delete the app and reinstall and it showing an activity more than once. Last year was a total breeze! I would never have put half of them on there and where this app drew those names from is beyond me. It's over a decade. Today when I logged in, I have a new son! I have no idea how it got there, and one of my children is missing from the app. ### 1/5 — Complete garbage lately *2024-09-24* The app was dumb but worked fine enough last year, but I’ve had a ton of problems this school year (3 weeks in). First off, how stupid is it to have to have different logins for kids in different schools? That’s some terrible UX design. I feel bad for parents with kids in all levels of school. This year, I’ve had an issue where the app will crash if I try to switch which kid I need to mark absent. It gets to the point that I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it then I have to get a new temp password (which both schools have to have their own password for some reason). So I can update one password, but when I have to do this all over again, I have to get a new password again because the temp passwords expire (I get it. That’s how they work). Why can’t I just have a login that shows both of my kids and their schools so if they’re both out on the same day, I don’t have to jump through a million hoops. ### 1/5 — Designed by someone who doesn’t use it *2024-09-16, version 24.20.2* This app requires an excessive amount of clicks to do simple changes. If you have three kids, nothing is grouped - it’s no less than 27 clicks for a change of pickup. I have to uninstall and reinstall it every time. Once I get it installed again, it doesn’t recognize me even though I have a user account nad password. When I go to indicate my kid won’t be on the bus I have to ‘delete a change ‘. What change? Why is a previously scheduled bus ride a ‘change’. Then probably 50% of the time when I ‘delete the change’ I get a 500 error and have to call the school anyway. ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-04-07, version 24.20.2* Nearly impossible to use. I’m thinking of building my own app to compete. Should be easy as pie. ### 1/5 — Works great when it opens *2026-02-25* This app is a four-star app when it works. The problem is we use it one or two times then the next time we open it, it gets stuck on the title screen with the spinning arrow of doom and never opens up. It does not adjust the UI based when you pick up the kid. When you pick up you keep clicking the sign in button. However, if you have multiple kids, it’s highly likely the app won’t work properly. Despite doing all the recommended things (uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting passwords using a laptop, ensuring passwords are the same for each account, etc) it still won’t allow us to toggle between kids. If you are logged in with one kid and try to toggle to a different kid on the app, it will shut down - Every. Single. Time. The only workaround is to log out of the app each time and then relog in under each child. This of course defeats the purpose of having an app that can send push notifications, which will only work for whatever kid you are logged into at the time. And no - it is NOT user error or a problem with my phone. My spouse has the same problem. Multiple parents at the school have the same issue as well (the school knows this and cannot seem to find a solution to it) and what should be a time saving resource is just another headache. ### 1/5 — App not working *2025-12-11, version 24.20.2* App has been down for over 24 hours. I have kids in three different schools and this does not allow for a single login. Meaning, I have to log out and in for each kid. Clearly people without children are programming it. Have the mindset to create my own company to do this for the schools.
