Terrible update. Asked me to set a pin, however after repeated pin- it’s says “wrong pin”. Can you fix this issue asap, please. Today is 5th of February and the issue still not fixed. Can’t you just do something about it? Why do we have to login every single time and put exact the same pin, only to be told by the app it is in fact wrong! ### 1/5 — Infuriating school app *2026-01-12, version 4.4* I’m looking forward to the day I can delete this app when my daughter moves to high school. Having to manually log in every time you open the app is tedious, the ‘extra security’ layer just doesn’t work. Back to the drawing board with this one. ### 1/5 — PLEASE FIX THE APP *2026-01-08, version 4.4* Still the app makes you have to select your school and put in an email and password EVERY SINGLE TIME you login which is a long and pointless It gives you the option to set a passcode however it fails every time. Even if you then set up a passcode in the settings it will switch off the option as soon as you leave the app and still make you log back in. Update: I didn’t think it could get any worse. It has. App no longer remembers login details. To make it worse, there’s no integration with Passwords app, so you have to first select the school and then enter login details manually. Because it doesn’t persist login session, you have to do that each time the app opens. The ‘inactivity lock’ feature also doesn’t work. It asks you to set a passcode, but the feature does not actually work. No where in the app to give feedback so I’m giving it here. Makes me wonder if anyone tests these updates before they go out to thousands of parents who are already struggling to keep up with so many school comms and various apps. ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2025-09-04, version 4.4* First ever review borne out of frustration. Daughters school uses this app and it’s so irritating. Many messages come through that I’m not interested in but there is no obvious way to mark all messages as read. So currently I have over 400 unread notifications with no way other than opening them all individually to clear them. The his means I have no idea when new notifications come through. I get notifications for new messages but in the app the messages are not there. Having to delete and reinstall and hope for the best. You can’t filter messages, view unread, save things or delete them but the school is able to delete messages that you wanted to save to refer back to. Also you can view a calendar but there’s no way of adding events to your own calendar like you can with most other services and email. The close (X) button is hidden under the status bar / Dynamic Island and cannot be tapped. I’ve already tried reinstalling the app and logging out/in, but the issue remains. Really helpful helpdesk’s person has helped me regain access! Highly recommended! Please install the 4.2 version of the app which should resolve this for you. You may also need to check that notifications are enabled for this app. If you require further assistance please contact our support team who will be happy to assist you further. ### 3/5 — Frustrating! *2025-11-20, version 4.4* Notifications do not come through on my phone for this app, meaning I am missing important notifications. I am running the latest version and have worked through the troubleshooting guide and still they don’t come through. Also on some iPhones you need to rotate the phone to access the cross to exit a notification or access the menu. When you do this you then have to reenter the pin to continue reading the message, which is really frustrating. I have been using this app for over a year now and never had these issues until recently. Also having no way of contacting you to notify you of these issues other than through leaving a review where you have to add a nickname and spend ages trying to find one that is not already taken is infuriating!! Next step on the wheel of emotions is ANGRY! ### 3/5 — Doesn’t notify when you have a message *2025-04-04, version 4.4* It was all good until it stopped showing I had unread messages unless I opened the app it doesn’t notify anymore ### 3/5 — It might now be working! *2025-02-04, version 4.4* I’m cautiously optimistic that they’ve fixed some of the bugs. The app now remembers my login and it also displays correctly and sends notifications. Well done devs. ### 3/5 — App not compatible with iPhone 16 pro max *2024-12-03, version 4.2* on my iPhone 16 pro max the screen fills too much and menu butto goes under the time so I can use it. Is there a fix for this ### 3/5 — App needs updating *2024-10-06* The app is usually great, however it has not been updated in 7 months and is no longer fit for purpose with the new iOS/ newer modals of iPhone. When opening a message I am no longer able to close the message. In cases of there being a form to submit, this too is unresponsive. Every time I open a new message I cannot close it so I have to close down the app a reopen to read the next message.
