Not only the mobile app doesn’t update OTA the Intercom, it falsly indicates that it is up to date! It’s totally misleading. Better if there was no mention of firmware at all than this. I have sc2 v2.2 when over the computer v2.3 is available. Intercom is the best out there, but software… and why the software is late comparing to official SENA 50r intercoms?

Da wir mittlerweile im Jahr 2025 leben, sollte ein Firmwareupdate OTA möglich sein.
Zusätzlich fehlt die Unterstützung von CarPlay.
Wenn man eine Einheit mit einem Akku und dazu eine Einheit mit einer Knopfzelle an einen voll verkabelten Helm anschließen muss, stelle ich mir nur eine einzige Frage. Warum?

Sena und Schuberth, ein System und verschiedene Versionen. Mein Sohn hat das Spider, ich das SC2. Alles aktuell und kein open Mesh oder Gruppen Mesh möglich. Wenn mein Sohn die alte 2.0 Version wählt, geht es wieder. Tut mit leid, sowas darf nicht passieren!!! Wie lang benötigt ihr eigentlich noch für die Umsetzung on Air??? Angezeigt bekomme ich das schon länger, wenn man es anwählt, keine unterstützten Geräte. Dann lasst doch die Option gleich weg und stellt es zur Verfügung wenn ihr es IRGENDWANN mal hinbekommen habt!!!!

Habe nach dem letzten Update von SC2 keine Verbindung mehr zu meinem iPhone!
Ich kann so keine Kommunikation zwischen Helm und Handy herstellen!!
Dafür 400 Euro zu bezahlen ist ein schlechter Service!!!
Wann und wie wollen Sie diese Fehler beheben??

There is a list of recently paired intercom devices in Sena app. Why did you remove pairing history. It should keep as much as possible, then we can change the favorite 3 out of those history records.

If this doesn’t work and you have the Sena on your Schuberth and can’t get it to work with any Schuberth app or data support on your computer (especially Apple). I have a Sena program on my Apple and I opened it up to update my Wife’s Shoei built in helmet Sena headset. I went ahead and plugged in my C5 with the Sena app and it worked much better to update the firmware. Go to Sena.com and download there update program and it might work for you too.

Had never worked. The app will not go past the first page and crashes. Can't connect to other riders without going into options on your helmet. Defeats the purpose.

Frist, I will say that the new'ish SC2 does preform much better than the SC1 devices I have used in the past - and that is why I "upgraded". And, the SC2 App has some nice features but come on Sena, this is the 21st Century. EVERYBODY has a smartphone - most of which are more powerful than the average desktop Operating System hardware in use today.  Why haven't Sena (and Schuberth) added the Device Manager features to this SC2 App?  Requiring the user to find a desktop device just to update the SC2's, and it's Remote's, software is absurd. Port the Device Manager to iOS (and Android). OTA updates are a very common practice for mobile devices.

Le vendeur, m’explique que pour changer la langue ( en Français) il faut télécharger "Device Manager" sur mon smart phone. Hors, cette application n’existe pas sous ce nom!!! C’est Schuberth SC2 qu’il faut télécharger!!!

I don't understand why you made rocket science from the painting process. It is stupid and complicated that you have to press multiple buttons to be able, by luck, to get into the pairing mode… greetings from Nokia. Simplicity is the secret to success. I would not recommend it as operating and adding devices, switching on and off, pairing, or unpairing is complicated. You have five buttons, assign one function to each, and make your customer's life easier. If your sales don’t work, ensure that you make it simple. Follow the KISS principle: Keep it simple, stupid. 
I hope one of your company executives reads this. I don’t need apologies. It is simply not customer-friendly and, therefore, not worth the money.

Cuando tienes varias aplicaciones funcionando a la vez sale loco. Vas escuchando música de una lista de reproducción y a la vez el navegador y se corta la música cuando le parce; vas con música de una lista de reproducción y se sale y pone la radio. Un desastre.

Wir schreiben das Jahr 2024 und ich kann trotz App kein FW Update machen. Muss an einen Computer ran , wo die Software per USB Kabel die SC2 nicht findet. Die Bedienung des SC 2 am C5 auch so umständlich ! Ein Armutszeugnis für Schubert und SENA wo das System fest verbaut ist.

Wir haben uns im letzten Jahr zwei Klapphelme mit dem COM-System gekauft. Leider taugt die App so gar nicht. Letztendlich haben wir die Mesh-Funktion direkt über die Helme hergestellt und die Bluetooth-Kopplung zum Helm über die App deaktiviert. Leider ist SCHUBERTH auch nicht daran interessiert, bei YouTube mal ein ausführliches Video zur App mit seinen Möglichkeiten einzustellen. Habe SCHUBERTH deshalb auch mal angeschrieben, aber erfolglos. Eigentlich schade, dass man bei der Hardware Vorreiter aber bei der Software oder Kundenorientierung so nachlässig ist.

Die App macht ja was sie soll. Man kann alle möglichen Dinge einstellen. Was mich aber echt wundert: Fast alle Motorradfahrer haben mittlerweile ein Car Play/Android Auto display am Lenker, weil es einfach sehr sinnvoll ist. Das Handy bleibt in der Jacke und ist dort sicher. Warum hat die App keinen CarPlay Support, so dass man am externen Display die Einstellungen vornehmen kann, so wie am Handy auch? Das sollte doch heutzutage nicht so schwierig sein, fragt mal die KI 😀, zumal ja nichts extra benötigt wird, sondern einfach nur die Einstellungen wie am Handy.

A better user interface than the hardware controller on the helmet. There is no CarPlay support though, which is an odd decision given what the app is for. Motorcycles do use CarPlay these days.

Funktion zur Einstellung ist eigentlich sehr gut, zur Kopplung mit einer BMW muss man die Reihenfolge der Kopplung beachten, dazu gibt es gute Videos auf YouTube. Ist das SC2 mit dem Moped ( BMW ) gekoppelt muss die Verbindung mit dem Handy aufgehoben werden da das Moped die Funktion des Handys übernimmt ( diese Einstellung ist für BMW Motorräder mit Display ) . Mit der aktuellen Firmware funktioniert dann auch die Lautstärke Regelung über den Drehregler am Lenker. Gut wäre es aber wenn die Verbindung zum Handy nicht getrennt werden müsste daher ein Stern Abzug. Vielleicht gibt es ja dazu mit der nächsten Firmware eine Lösung.

The app is good, it connects to the SC2 with ease and it’s pretty simple to use the app itself. 

It gives instant access to the user guide which is handy, because the device isn’t the easiest to use with the button combinations etc. 

Not sure if this is an app problem or an issue with the firmware, but with the most recent updates I can no longer use the “Hey Siri” function with my device, which obviously removes any hands free element to making calls etc. If this could be addressed, I’d give this 5 stars!

Hallo,

das Schuberth Sc 2 Headset funktioniert so weit super. Schade ist nur das es immer wieder die Verbindung zur App verliert und man so über das Smartphone keine Einstellmöglichkeiten mehr hat.
Es wäre gut wenn hier per Update nachgebessert werden könnte.
