### 1/5 — Setup failure

*2019-10-20*

Great product but set up fails horribly. I have an account and to reinstall because it stopped working. Now being forced to go through set up again instead of letting me login. All you can do is have it send a set up email that never comes.

### 1/5 — Doesn't seem to even work

*2019-10-10*

First off, if you bought this device, I'm sorry you wasted your money. The app is horrible, mainly trying to connect it to your network. Worst design I've seen in a long time. I gave up, somewhat worked for a while, changed my network and it won't even attempt to connect. And it appears their set up web site doesn't even work any more. They probably just abandoned it because the product was so lousy....

### 1/5 — Worked great now doesn’t

*2019-10-09, version 1.8.1*

Keeps crashing won’t even stay open after iOS 13

### 1/5 — App keep crashing

*2019-08-04, version 1.8.1*

Using Apple iPhone 8+ app doesn’t open just crashes. Latest updates and all

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2019-06-08*

Too many steps to connect and was never able to hook it up to the network

### 1/5 — App immediately closes when opened

*2019-05-25, version 1.8.1*

Won’t open anymore on my iPhone.

### 1/5 — Worth $5

*2019-04-05*

I never leave bad reviews but can’t help it this time.
- Only connects to Wi-Fi. No Bluetooth.
- Connection drops all the time
- Had to set up four times
- Limited use. Shows full, 75%, or 50%. Seems to be based on volts on battery not capacity.

So really, it works if you are close to your home Wi-Fi and doesn’t give you the readings you want.

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2019-03-24, version 1.8.1*

Does not work at all. Charger is charging but a wireless network never pops up to connect to

### 1/5 — Can be improved

*2019-01-09*

I’m able to keep an eye on my cars battery from my phone but every time I need to check it I need to press that button on the Device to get it connected to the WiFi.
Good idea poor device

### 2/5 — Charger works, app needs more features

*2018-10-11*

Bought the charger last night because I have had a battery that goes dead on me randomly on my Jeep Wrangler. I know it’s a parasitic draw but it isn’t a regular occurrence so I can easily trace it.

The charger works my battery was fully charged this morning, but when I try to use the app there is No history button that I have found.

Did the charger turn on and maintain once last night?

Did the charger have to turn on and maintain 20 times last night?

IDK the answer and that was the main reason I bought this charger over one that cost 1/4 the price.

If an update gets released so that a charge history feature gets added, or the option for push notifications when the battery charger is charging I will keep it.

### 1/5 — Do Not Buy His Charger!

*2018-07-23, version 1.06*

I was a little put off by the charger's anemic 3 amp output but decided to give it a shot anyway. Then I got home and unpacked it. That is when I saw all the registration nonsense. No thanks.

Note to Schlockmakers management:
(1) Products which depend on web sites always fail down the road when the company loses interest, releases a newer product, merges, goes bankrupt, of for whatever reason drops the web site.

(2) Customers do not buy IOT products to facilitate information rape by your marketing department.

(3) Customers have no desire to participate in any sort of future revenue stream schemes by you.

(4) Products which are needlessly Internet facing compromise network security.

(5) If your engineers claim there is no other way to implement a solution, I have many years of related professional experience and I would be happy to educate them.

The charger is in the bag with receipt waiting for return in the morning. My first charger for my first car was a Schumacher. This will likely be my last from you.

### 1/5 — Charger won’t register

*2024-08-19*

I have bought numerous Schumacher chargers over the years. Also meeting Tony at the drag strip and how kind he was to everyone made me a loyal customer. So when I was in the market for a WiFi capable charger I didn't look any further than Schumacher.

The issue is the application won't register the charger. l guess they outsource this development and their support staff have no information on when this problem will be corrected. I have had the charger for over a month and a half and still no resolution. During my last call I asked the support representative if the application ever worked and she said at one time it did. I asked her why didn't they revert to the version that worked. She said she would ask but I never heard anything else.

I would look for a different solution if you need WiFi connectivity.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2024-05-04*

I have 4x SchuLink battery monitors and all have stopped working simultaneously. I’ve reached out to Schumacher but had no response to any messages. The app updated a few weeks after they stopped working, however it hasn’t resolved the problem.

### 1/5 — Broken update

*2024-04-17*

Total trash. My monitor hasn’t worked since the last update. Contacted customer service several times and no help.

### 1/5 — In need of an update

*2024-02-15*

This app has not been updated in five years. It no longer works.

### 1/5 — Crashes instantly. Charger is now useless.

*2023-10-09*

Never buying a product from this company again.

### 1/5 — Crashes on iPhone 16.5.1

*2023-07-17, version 1.8.1*

Splash screen appears and immediately crashes. This app hasn’t been updated in four years. C’mon, Shulink!

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2022-07-16, version 1.8.1*

Cannot open the app lately, needed some updating probably. Please fix it. The charger works well though, just cant monitor/control remotely.

Update 7/15/22 battery dead, it did not maintain. App itself, needs update. Unable to open again lately.

### 1/5 — iOS 14 killed it

*2020-10-02, version 1.8.1*

The current version 1.81 app was killed when I upgraded my phone to iOS 14. The app closes immediately upon launch. Date 10/1/2020

### 1/5 — Where is the update???

*2020-02-16*

App crashes. Hasn’t been an update in a year. If this app is no longer supported how do I get my money back???

### 1/5 — App won’t open

*2019-12-30, version 1.8.1*

App won’t work 95% of the time developer don’t update

### 5/5 — Easy setup

*2019-05-05*

I use the SC1344 to maintain my diesel generator battery. The setup was easy and very quick.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2018-08-27*

Absolutely amazing app! Works flawlessly for my setup. Only one request... can you make this optimized for the iPhone X?
Love your products!!

### 4/5 — Decent App for a Decent Product

*2024-03-26*

I have the SC1366 Charger. Setup was easy and seems pretty stable.

I would have given 5 stars if there were notifications from the app. A notification when battery is disconnected or an error or fully charged.

### 4/5 — Works, could use improvement

*2019-02-28*

I use my SC1344 to maintain the batteries on my travel trailer during the long Alaskan winter.
So far it seems to work adequately. Although my WiFi connection is weak and I can’t always connect.
The case is sturdy and connectors adequate. The cords don’t look like they would survive the cold, -40, if flexed. (It does get that cold here.)
The only action available is to turn it on or off. It’s a useful feature if you want to track self-discharge or see what a phantom load is doing.

The app’s status page has some very small font for the voltage, current and even smaller, nearly illegible, signal strength. With all the white space available, it would soothe my old eyes if the font was bigger.

There is no indication when the measurements were taken. A time stamp would be handy.

A downloadable history of voltage, current, on/off state and signal strength would be great. With sample intervals user selectable at 5, 10, 30, 60 etc. minutes. An alarm, via text and/or email should be sent if one of several selected conditions occur.
My La Crosse Alert TX60 remote thermometer has similar features.

### 3/5 — Voltage display

*2021-04-22*

This app is great except for the letter size
The voltage display is way too small

### 3/5 — Needs Push Notifications

*2020-06-19*

The device was easy to install and the app connected easily for me. My main complaint is there is no option for push notifications. I need to know when the battery status changes, monitor goes online or offline, etc.

It is somewhat useful, but having to manually go in and check makes the product less useful than it could be.

Suggestions:
- be able to have the app run in the background and periodically (interval set by user?) check the monitor.
- push notifications for battery status change: offline, Good, Charge Soon, Recharge Now, etc.

### 3/5 — Update

*2018-12-23*

I think that the monitor does not work with the new IOS system. Difficult contacting your tech support. It worked fine until apple sent a new software update.

### 3/5 — Could be better

*2018-07-05*

Love this company. Support is great. App needs work. Not full screen on iPhone X. Also, text within app over laps itself. Also is you name your charger something too long it goes off the screen. Full name should show on top when you go into one of the changers.

For people making app, just use it for 2 or 3 days with 8 chargers. You’re see it all

### 3/5 — works but could be better

*2018-02-13*

found it easy to setup, have to create an account and toggle back and forth wifi but worked. There isnt much you can do to control with app, just turn off which isn’t necessary since it maintains. My 2 issues are 1) the text is overlapping and not legible on iphone x. 2) app says “charging” at 100% charge when it should be “maintaining”. Just seems there is a lot more that can be done to improve the app. But if your just looking to monitornhay it is connected yes it does that.

### 2/5 — Goes to sleep and doesn’t wake up

*2024-01-05*

When it works it works well … cannot be used as a permanent charger / monitor as occasionally go to sleep and doesn’t wake up not noticing the voltage is low. Solution is to power cycling the input power off and on daily.
