When it works, it works fine, but when it doesn’t it’s the most insufferable thing ever. It will sometimes just check me out of stores without my notice, other times it’ll log me out permanently and I have to delete and redownload the app to log in again. The scanner often refuses to show up on the tools page. It’ll tell me I have certifications I need to finish when I’ve already done them all. And just recently it deleted my badge photo and prompted me to take another. Without the badge photo I can’t check in to my stores. Well of course I try and take another, only for it to tell me I already have a badge photo. It worked well enough for me last week, but was suddenly signed out and unable to sign back in. The button is broken. Fix, please. And consider working out the other issues such as not showing the clock-in button on the main screen, not recognizing completed certifications, and being unable to view information Volt showed before. Why can’t I see delivery history or sales time stamps? Horrible update. I have to scan a printer in between each product and I cannot print multiple labels at once anymore. I also ran into an issue where I had to delete the app and redownload it because of a “Failed to print” message that would pop up. I tried to print 2 tags and it took me 10 minutes trying to troubleshoot. Signing in & out did not work, I had to actually delete the app and download it again. ### 1/5 — POS *2026-03-13* Need Volt back! This app is horrible and should have never been released with so many bugs. I’ve had to download and delete, download and delete. Burns up my battery. This app is junk please fix asap!!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Sorry this app needs a complete overhaul. *2026-08-21* This new app crashes multiple times throughout the day. Whether it’s on a work device or a personal device. I’ve uninstalled multiple times, reinstalled, still no fix for the crashing issue. It will crash upon opening, while using to scan items, VizPick, adding items on to do list, while viewing items on to do list, etc. there are more issues than just the crashing. I was on the beta testing team and left a tonne of suggestions to which none were even heeded. I have no idea why it was even launched as it’s still a major beta test now. ### 1/5 — Terrible update *2026-08-18* I was using the Volt app previously and everything was very smooth. They then updated to the Scintilla version back in February. It is now August 2026 and I’m still not able to login to use the app? This is a third party app I’m required to use and it’s getting stressful that I can’t finish the certifications. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve waited for over a full minute for it to load, it simply doesn’t load. ### 1/5 — Logging in and Password Fatigue *2026-05-15* I’m required to use it but still don’t because of the time it takes to log in. With the new sales history it’s been hugely helpful with our workforce. ### 3/5 — Issues *2024-10-16* Can’t see case packs or if item is on rollback. Would be a great help especially to see case packs ### 3/5 — Data not linking Overall good app *2022-01-12* Volt has stopped linking data such as a back room location and shipment/replenishment information. The app works great otherwise. Allows you to check live inventory, aisle location and recent sales. Poor quality of life decisions regarding item search, and even though the update made the app look like it wasn’t made last decade, they moved the search from the bottom bar. It also makes me log back in way too often now, even during my same shift that I clocked into with the app. ### 2/5 — Useful in some aspects useless in others *2020-02-12, version 4.3.0* It makes printing tags and other things pretty easy. However, every associate still forces you to check in the back door. Would like to be able to pull product from bins as well as see PI Summery (delivery dates, sales). I also wanted to mention how sometimes when opening the camera on the app to scan (labels or badge) it will freeze up and make an unsettling fizzling sound from my phone. I have to reset the app to get it to bring the camera back up.
