Tap to Clock In

You can now clock in and out by simply tapping your phone against the NFC tag posted at your work location. No need to open a menu or find the right button — tap the tag and confirm.

• Automatic clock in or out based on your current status
• Confirmation prompt before every action, so an accidental brush against a tag never changes your time
• Clear result screen showing exactly what was recorded
• QR code scanning still available at locations that use it

Improvements for Managers

• NFC Clock Tag setup now shows each location's scan requirements right on the provisioning screen, so a new tag works the moment you finish setting it up
• Warning and one-tap fix when a tag is provisioned at a location where scanning isn't yet required
• Confirmation before requiring a scan at a location that has no active tag, so employees are never locked out

Fixes

• Rejected time entries no longer count toward employee hour totals on timesheets. Approved and pending hours now match your payroll figures.
• Faster app startup and quicker loading after sign-in
• Improved error messages when an NFC tag can't be read, including already-used tags
• Fixed a layout issue where the Clock Tag setup form could overflow on smaller screens
