That is where i found the link to this fantastic app. THANK YOU DigitalAmbiance for providing this ad-free, phenomenally useful app. I can adjust the settings to basic as my default for my usual super simple calcs or change to either scientific or coder level. So simple! The help text reads like my favorite IT guru explaining to me as if i was an intelligent user. I have been using the first calculator I came across since I bought the iPad. The only thing that really upsets me is that every time I need to use the calculator on the fly, I have to go through continual ads before I can use the calculator, I was sitting in my chair googling this very subject, and came across a post on an apple forum with a link to this calculator. This calculator is extremely complicated and way more complex than what I need but, it opens immediately, can use it immediately, and I don’t have to wait through tons of ads to use the calculator. I had been using a browser based calculator but they’re notoriously sluggish. This is now the only one I use on my iPad. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because although the calculator looks real, the display does not match the realism. I tried to total a short column of figures and got an answer I couldn’t believe. Here are the numbers: 16,212.00 - 14,212.39 - 1,593.18 - 406.43. The answer should be 0.00. Instead, Sci:Pro says 1.20370622 x 10 to the -35. That’s a pretty small number, but it isn’t zero. I only wish it was updated for iPhone X. It’s a little strange to see the UI mashed up in the upper left corner of my iPhone screen. The buttons are too small and there’s a lot of wasted space. Also, the pasting of hex values doesn’t seem to work properly, either.
