Will be using a different scrabble scoring app until this bug is fixed ### 2/5 — Buggy *2025-01-02, version 2.2.2* This used to be great. Now there are bugs. All the triple letter boxes are missing from the board and it’s not scoring properly. It was much better when simply pressing Enter committed the score. Keeps telling us the game is over when it isn’t, even though we know everyone has taken and used the tiles correctly. The biggest problem is the lack of undo to go back more than one move. ### 3/5 — Looks great but have to pay *2024-01-06, version 2.2.1* if you want more than two players you have to pay $13 AUD for the base version, just not worth it imo considering I have a family of three and we barely play scrabble. if it was 5 bucks I’d pay but I just can’t spend that much on an app id use once every 3 months yknow. otherwise looks awesome, graphics are great and everything. ### 3/5 — Good app but there are glitches *2023-12-30* Great not to have keep score but the AI glitches often especially when the board gets full. ### 2/5 — Somebody killed this app *2022-12-12* Says “no new letters added,” so obviously doesn’t recognize our Deluxe Scrabble Edition with dark red pieces for the camera option. What’s worse is when trying to enter letters manually the screen just jumps around under my finger, rather than opening the keyboard for entry. Was able to score 2 plays but don’t want to have to tap the screen a dozen times to get the app to respond. I’m using iPhone 12 Max and have no issues like this with any other app. **Developer response:** Hello, our application does not recognize all types of game board, for which we apologize, but other case can you please try the new version 2.2.0 when the update is available in the AppStore and tell us if your problems persists or not? Thank you very much. ### 2/5 — Broken *2022-12-07* As other reviews have suggested, the keyboard input is extremely buggy, sometimes I have to close out of the input screen 6+ times to get the keyboard to appear. This really detracts from the experience and makes the app very frustrating to use. This is a breaking issue and should be addressed, especially given the fact that updates are being pushed on a regular basis. **Developer response:** Hello, can you please try the new version 2.2.0 when the update is available in the AppStore and tell us if your problems persists or not? Developers, there is an annoying bug where you can’t use the keyboard! iPhone 12 Pro IOS 15 ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE!! *2022-04-24* This USED TO BE a great app. Now , even with purchasing the “upgrade’ dictionary, it accepts words that ARE NOT in the scrabble dictionary. It also no longer knows the end of game, as well as suggesting words and overriding what you type when checking a word. I had a developer response on my 1st comment on the update, but now it seems WORSE. Thank you very much. ### 1/5 — Used to be great, since latest update it stinks *2022-04-17, version 2.0.1* Wow this app used to at least be usable, but since the last update, it crashes, doesn’t calculate the score using the camera as good, doesn’t automatically change word direction when manually typing in words, and it forgets that I purchased premium already! Yikes ### 4/5 — Latest update needs some fixes *2022-03-27* I have used this app for years and love it. This latest update though… first kept saying I needed premium when I have had it. Finally discovered I needed to “restore purchase”. Then dictionary wouldn’t work until it was “enabled”, but went un-enabled suddenly in middle of game. When taking photos of words played, the score is partially hidden behind tile. And at the end, wouldn’t let me get to main menu; kept asking if I wanted to rate the app but went back to game end screen no matter the answer. We switched to a modern programming language, which is also the reason for some mistakes or shortcomings. Can you please try the new version 2.2.0 when the update is available in the AppStore and tell us if your problems persists or not? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scorable more like horrible *2025-08-22, version 2.2.4* Only let’s you use 2 players ### 1/5 — fully unusable with latest update *2025-06-14* now whenever i open the app, a window pops up telling me about the latest update and the window cannot be closed! there’s an “ok” confirmation box in the window and tapping it does nothing! i’ve restarted the app, restarted my phone, reinstalled the app…nothing works. So much for the premium version i guess, almost feels like a scam. ### 1/5 — Triple Word Score Removed *2025-01-04, version 2.2.2* I have a purchased version from a couple years ago and now that version has the triple word score tiles removed from the board. Love it!! ### 5/5 — So useful *2025-01-02, version 2.2.2* We love this app to keep scores and statistics. There are some minor bugs like starting a new game will sometimes go right away to the finished game screen. Closing and restarting the app fixes this. Would be great that when we check for a word in the dictionary, it would give us the definition too. ### 5/5 — This is the one *2023-01-03* If you're thinking, "Hey, I wonder if someone has thought of a companion app for keeping score in Scrabble," look no further. This one FIGURES THE SCORE AUTOMATICALLY. All you really need to do is take a snapshot of the board after each play. My big thing, the keyboard is fixed. It was so smart it knew when the game should have been over based on actual pieces. It knew when too many letters were used when you forget to mark blank tiles correctly.
