As many fans have imported the board game we’ve included the English language into the app as a fan service. Enjoy! Scotland Yard Master is the new development in the world-famous classic board game Scotland Yard, which was named Game of the Year in 1983. Together with the board game, this app offers a completely new and even more exciting way to play. The detectives are on the cutting edge of technology and even hotter on the heels of Mr X. They will find all the important information in the digital control centre: Which modes of transport has Mr X travelled by so far? When will he show himself again? What special actions can be used? You can select mobile phone tracking, for example, and point the smartphone or tablet’s camera at the four radio masts on the game board. Green, yellow or red radio waves will indicate whether or not Mr X is nearby. You can also question witnesses at important buildings across the city. The camera comes into play again, showing Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral in 3D. Witnesses will reveal whether Mr X is or has recently been there. Furthermore, the detectives can determine his possible locations by analysing his previous moves, or by measuring the distance between Mr X and the nearest radio mast. But if you think you’ve already got Mr X in the bag, you can think again. With his new escape option, the helicopter, he’s as cunning as ever. He can also win the game by reaching two of five pre-determined rendezvous points. Die App bringt spannende vielversprechende weitere Spielelemente für Mr. X und die Detektive. Sie funktioniert bedingt auch mit dem originalem Brettspiel in der aktuellsten Version. Nur die 3D-Ansicht und zwei der vier Sonderaktionen der Detektive funktionieren nicht zuverlässig. Bei diesen muss mit der Kamera das Spielbrett gescannt werden. Dann tauchen AR-Elemente auf dem Spielbrett auf. Leider erkennt die App das Spielbrett der originalen Version nicht oder nur sehr unzuverlässig, denn das Spielbrett von „Master“ unterscheidet sich ein bisschen vom originalen Spielbrett in in einigen Bereichen in der Farbgebung. Ich denke es sollte eigentlich kein Problem sein die App so weit anzupassen, dass auch das Originale Spiebrett erkannt wird. Für Ravensburger sollte dies kein Nachteil sein, denn die Master-Version haben sie ja laut Webseite gar nicht mehr im eigenen Katalog. Ich würde es Mega feiern, wenn die App entsprechend angepasst werden würde. Ein Problem hat die App allerdings noch: Die Kamera schein ununterbrochen an zu sein, auch wenn sie nicht gebraucht wird. Das frisst extrem Akku. ### 5/5 — Genauso GUT wie unbekannt. *2025-11-18* Das Spiel ist einfach Spitze! Leider wird es nicht ausreichend beworben. Jeder mit dem wir es spielen ist begeistert und wundert sich über die Unbekanntheit. Es fehlt außerdem nicht nur an Werbung sondern auch am Angebot der kompatiblen Brettspiele. Hoffentlich wird es wieder aufgelegt. Es wäre wirklich eine Schande Scotland Yard in der Masterversion aussterben zu lassen. ### 3/5 — Gioco Fantastico *2025-02-10, version 2.3* Il gioco in sé per sé è molto bello, si puó giocare in compagnia di amici e familiari, la pecca peró è una: Nell’ora in cui MISTER X è visibile, se si clicca nell’icona delle manette e si mette il numero della fermata, si vince!!!!!!!!!! Perfavore risolvete questo piccolo problema, che fa molto ridere🤣🤣🤣 ### 1/5 — In der Erklärung der Tab Version *2024-12-22* In der Erklärung der Tab Version sagt der blau von 50 mit dem Taxi auf 67 dabei ist keine Taxilinie von 50 auf 67. Somit dürfte die Fahrt nicht rechtens sein. ### 3/5 — Super spiel, frisst aber unangemessen viel Akku *2024-03-08* Das Problem ist, das bei der App andauernd die Kamera aktiv ist, auch wenn sie in der aktuellen Aktion garnicht gebraucht wird. Sonst ist es ein super Spiel und bringt ein wenig Abwechslung in das Spiel. ### 5/5 — Klasse „Erweiterung“ *2024-03-05* Schottland Yard im „neuen“ Gewand. Auf jedenfalls gibt es neue Modi die durchaus Spaß machen. Klasse 👍🏼😍 ### 1/5 — Gut gedacht zu viele Fehler *2024-01-07* Also die Erweiterung ist gut gedacht allerdings sollte die Kamera auch bei etwas schlechterem Licht die Karte gut erkennen. Funktioniert leider nicht. Das Ständige hin und her reichen des Tablets während dem Spiel ist störend. Die extra Funktionen wie Ortung funktionieren leider nur mit der Kamera. Wir spielen wieder klassisch.
