Clearly no usability testing. Even the ticket officers on the train can’t use it. Usability - making it easy and obvious for people to use - is basic for a train ticket app. It also fails to deliver consistent results when I search for tickets! Price changes each search. Whatever costs were saved by cutting user testing will be lost via lost ticket revenue. ### 5/5 — SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE NEW ONE *2026-08-07, version 4.4.14* I genuinely never had any issues with this app version, whereas the new app won’t even show you your return ticket… seems like an unnecessary change that inconveniences and annoys more than improves the ScotRail experience. #BringItBack ### 1/5 — Badly broken *2026-08-06, version 4.4.14* Showing me tickets that are not mine! This would be handy when you need your ticket out of signal. Annoying that expired flexipasses don’t disappear and that it sometimes remembers railcards you don’t want to use.
