## What is Scots?

Scots is the second most commonly used language in Scotland. Although it shares much of its vocabulary with English, Scots also has many words and phrases of its own. This handy dictionary of essential Scots terms is the first to offer definitions in Polish. 
 
Compiled by Dictionaries of the Scots Language, the nation’s authority on Scots, the Essential Scots-Polish Dictionary provides meanings in Polish for 9,500 Scots words and phrases. The Dictionary also provides audio guides for difficult forms so you can hear their pronunciations as well.
