### 5/5 — my favorite soliataire!

*2025-04-09*

just good!

### 4/5 — Fun game. Shield is a bit confusing…

*2025-03-29*

It’s not clear how the shield works. The original game only has weapons, so better explanation of how the shield relates to weapons would be good. Fun game though.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! I can definitely see how the shield would be confusing if you’re coming to the game with an understanding of the rules already. However, it is not a new mechanic. Scoundrel Solitaire does follow the classic rules.

The shield indicates the amount of damage that will be deducted when attacking with your weapon (i.e. the strength of the weapon in the classic game) and the sword indicates the strongest monster that can be attacked with the weapon (i.e. the last attacked monster card that is overlayed on the weapon in the classic game). It’s just a different way of visualizing the same information in an attempt to be a bit more intuitive for those without a previous understanding of the rules.

I hope that clears things up!

### 5/5 — Very Cool

*2025-03-20*

I love this game! Exactly what I was looking for for a quick game when I have a little bit of downtime. I knew how to play this with a deck of cards, so I was very excited to see an app available since carrying a deck of cards around is not always practical! Check it out! Awesome stuff!

### 5/5 — Pretty cool lil card game

*2025-03-18*

Thanks for the update with the resume save. I was about to echo the same issue on saving like the last reviewer, but held off to wait for an update. Sure enough, you came through, thanks. The game is straight to the point and a fun lil time waster whether waiting in line at a store, or at home on the couch.

Add another cool game to my Rogue-Like Card game library 👍🏾

### 5/5 — My favorite game ever

*2025-03-17*

Edit to my original review:

I would give this game, and the developer, 10 stars if I could. The game was great out of the gate, but the developer has already made it exponentially better with the latest updates. I like this better than any card game app I’ve had on my phone all these years. I hope it doesn’t stray from what it is as time goes on, because it’s the perfect solitaire card game. Thank you developer! This game deserves success!

Original review:
I found this randomly when searching for a quick-play solitaire game to play on a work break. It’s very well done, especially for the fair premium price with no ads or IAP. I happily support indie developers who monetize fairly like this.

It’s easy to learn, and offers interesting strategy choices. And thankfully it’s not overly complicated like some rogue games. It’s just right. Perfect for a quick game, but you want to keep playing another.

I do have a few requests:

(1) Turning off sound doesn’t do anything, and it doesn’t save your setting when you quit the app.

(2) I’d like the option to turn off haptics too. That saves battery.

(3) Games are fast, but I still wish you could save mid-game and continue later.

(4) In the background of the dungeon, on the upper left, would you consider getting rid of the pentagram and replacing it with something generic? I almost deleted the game when I saw the pentagram. I just don’t like any occult type of symbolism. Just a suggestion.

I appreciate the fair price and the small file size. This is a very good game, for a very good price, and it’s perfect for a quick break. I’ve played a couple others similar to this, but I like this one’s ruleset better.

I recommend this game and thank you, developer!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words and great suggestions! Some of the things you have requested are available in today's update and the rest will be coming soon!

### 5/5 — Plays like you want it to

*2025-03-17*

Very easy to keep telling myself “just one more run”. Accurate to the rules and easy to use.
