It has nice art and sound design, good music, but impossible to beat the first level with the amount of monsters and handful of HP it has even on easy mode. ### 4/5 — Excellent game with power creep, crashes *2024-04-05* Gorgeous animation, fluid combat, a joy to play with a ps or switch controller. I wish there was a more traditional roguelike mode where you find the skill tree nodes as items in the run instead of starting with them, the early stages kind of become a slog once you figure out some combos. The items are strong and fun to use, but dont expect the synergies of gungeon or isaac. The game crashed while fighting the 3rd floor boss, lots of particles on screen I guess (it was a really promising run too). On my iPhone it plays fine. I have had quite a bit of fun piecing together the lore and gathering new skills. The only problems I have have to do with the judge blood and chiming tree. The first problem is instant gift. It gives me way way mor than 10 percent of the total spent blood, which is fun, but I got all the upgrades a little too easily for my liking. It might also be better if it doubled the amount of judge blood you had obtained in a run. The other problem is the branches. I have come to believe that in other versions branches three and above are locked behind certain judges, similar to the final branch. It is not so for me. All in all these aren’t big problems and you can certainly just choose not to take instant gift and to wait to unlock certain branches. ### 4/5 — one suggestion *2023-01-01* this game is great fun rogue like, good controls on mobile, challenging, good art style and great music. worth your time if you like metroid-esque and rogue lite genre. my one suggestion is let me play my own music when i play the game. the sound track is great but sometimes i don’t wanna listen to that and want to hear my own music instead. the game does not allow this ### 4/5 — Loved it but needs more content *2022-11-17* It's kind of short and not as expansive as one would hope. I'd love to see a much larger wealth of content added. ### 3/5 — It’s a start *2022-11-14* This game is mildly entertaining and has a promising core structure however it is not engaging enough with regards to the dynamics and the resources are not balanced enough. I.e. there are too little options in the stores and not enough methods to heal oneself. The store items are far too expensive for the resources per dungeon and their variety could do with some improvement.
