## What is Scout?

Know before you go.

Most travel apps hand you a pile of data and call it a day. Radar maps, hourly breakdowns, a dozen alerts — and you're still not sure if you should actually leave. Scout skips all that.
Just tell it where you're headed and when. Scout checks the weather along your whole route, then gives you one straight answer:

All clear — conditions look good the whole way. Go.
Caution — there's something to watch, and Scout tells you exactly what it is and where.
Don't travel — conditions are serious enough to wait. Scout explains why and helps you find a better day.

If your trip's still a few days out, Scout will remind you to check back before you leave, since weather has a way of changing its mind.


HOW IT WORKS
Enter your origin, destination, and roughly when you want to leave.
Scout checks the weather across your entire route — not just your start and end point.
You get a simple verdict: go, watch out, or wait.
As your trip gets closer, Scout nudges you to take one more look.

SIMPLE BY DESIGN
There's no AI here, no settings menu to dig through, no account to set up. Just straightforward logic running right on your phone. You can pull up a route map if you're curious, but that's not really the point — the point is knowing whether to go.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Scout doesn't track you. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, nothing. Your trips live on your device and stay there. If you tap "use my current location," that's only to set your starting point — Scout never checks in on you in the background. Weather data comes from Apple WeatherKit, and RevenueCat handles subscriptions. That's the whole stack.
