Pros: you can read all SCPs, including ones like -Js, and explained. Con: you have to watch an ad to save a file after saving a few. Overall: recommended.

### 5.4.1 — 2026-08-31

Folders are now easier to see and use. Library opens to Folders the first time, folder icons are larger, and your last display choice is remembered.

We also added four recommended reading-list folders for your selected SCP branch. “Start here: beginner picks” appears first. You can delete any list and add the recommendations again from the menu whenever you need them.

### 5.4.0 — 2026-08-29

Folders are far more capable. You can create folders inside folders, move articles and folders between them, select several items at once for bulk actions, rename in place, reorder, and drag and drop. Contents can be shown as a list or as a grid.

Search has been rebuilt. The search field stays visible, and the filters and tags you have applied can be cleared right where you see them. Results are ordered by relevance, matched text is highlighted, and each result shows why it matched. Misspelled queries bring up "did you mean" suggestions.

SCP Indonesia is now supported as a branch, and Indonesian was added as an app language.

Two new share card designs were added: Foundation File and Shipping Label.

We also fixed a number of issues, including one that prevented switching Series in numbered SCP lists.

Improved the article data: filled in missing titles, descriptions, tags, and ratings, and made syncing more reliable.

### 5.2.0 — 2026-08-13

SCP docs 5.2 indexes more works and makes articles easier to find.

• Many more translated Tales are now included. Works missing from the official lists were added, and the Tales language tabs now reflect the languages actually available.
• A "New" filter was added. In the SCP, Tales, Joke, and SCP-EX lists you can see recently updated articles grouped by date.
• Works from smaller branches are now gathered under a single "Developing Branches" entry.
• Sorting now lives in one menu at the top right on every screen, and the bottom bar keeps only the filters you use most.
• Settings has a new "Keep screen awake while using the app" option (off by default).

This release also includes minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

### 5.1.0 — 2026-08-11

SCP docs 5.1 is all about iPad, with fixes for every device.

• On iPad, Home is now two columns in portrait and landscape: your reading path on the left—continue reading, recommended reports, recently read and search presets—and an expanded archive menu on the right, with Tales, Artwork, Canon, Series, Groups of Interest, Joke, SCP-EX, collaborative works and a recent activity strip.
• The Reader and list screens now fill the full width of the display, with left and right drawers that slide in over the edges: the context list and collection memberships on one side, Similar articles and Read later on the other.
• More iPad refinements: the classification control in Library is now the same floating launcher used in the Reader, action panels size to their content, content pickers no longer hide behind the bottom bar, tap targets meet the 44 pt minimum, and Cmd+F focuses search from any tab.
• Back-swipe in the Reader now works from anywhere on the page, and a new setting adjusts the width of article text.
• New Safe Browsing settings hide images in place—tap to reveal, with no layout shift—and stop animation and autoplay, without breaking collapsibles, tabs or footnotes.
• Canon collections now show every member with a card built for its kind: number, object class and thumbnail for reports, an author line for tales, and its chip for Groups of Interest.
• Fixes: the Rating tab in Library no longer hides items below four stars, archive counts on Home no longer stay at zero after a restart, official ratings appear again on Groups of Interest rows, canon hubs and the SCP-001 proposal feed, Groups of Interest organization pages load again, Spanish and Polish articles no longer produce blank share cards, and the first search after launch is no longer delayed.
