## What is Scrabbdict?

Scrabbdict is a fast offline word checker and word finder for tile-based word games such as Scrabble™.

Type a word to check whether it is valid. Enter your letters to find playable words. Use “?” in letter patterns when one letter can be anything. Scrabbdict keeps lookup quick and focused, without making you open a full dictionary or dig through long word lists.

Use Scrabbdict to:
• check if a word is valid,
• see the score for valid words,
• find words from your letters,
• search wildcard patterns with “?”,
• switch between Auto, Check, and Build modes,

What on earth have you done to scrabbdict?!?!?!? I want the old one back! The new one is unusable! Awful! Irritating! Rejects being able to use an extra letter! Very limited!!!! Terrible!!!

**Developer response:** I’m sorry the new version has been frustrating. Scrabbdict 3.x still supports word validation and finding words from your letters, while also adding blank tiles and word scores. Please let me know what happens when you try to use an extra letter or which feature you’re missing – I’d be happy to investigate and improve it.
