I love this easy to use app with such a cute vibe. The interface is really easy to understand and feels natural for actual writing which is what I was looking for. I know this app is new so the small things I would like to see changed are not taking away from my experience so far but, I would love to be able to cycle out prompts if the one that is being offered doesn’t speak to me but I’m not sure what to write about on my own. I also would love to be able to swipe to turn pages in my entries. No joke, I walked in after a hiatus to see the premium was on a 20 minute 64% off sale; the lifetime plan was $59.99 from $149.99–NOT a very attractive price. Not everyone is comfortable with subscription payments either, so the monetization model is looking very not cool (especially considering how jacked up prices like this tend to be pretty dangerous for a support product’s reputation considering the association with the “taking advantage of the mentally disabled” thing that some scam “support services” do). Don’t get me wrong: I fully trust that you (the developer) made this app to help people, and that’s all you want to do, and the fact that this is monetized at all is only to help pay your own bills which is perfectly okay. HOWEVER, I believe that lowering the prices by large margin (say, $30 tops for the lifetime plan, maybe 50 for the family version) will ultimately make this project more money simply by virtue of being more accessible. TL;DR: Please lower the prices for the paid version because: lower price = better reputation = more people coming in and getting the paid version = more money coming in than there otherwise would be ### 5/5 — 5 stars! *2025-10-02, version 3.0.2* Your app is so efficient and useful and I love the concept, great that it’s all free . I’ve downloaded a lot of journaling apps but this one is the most unique one I’ve come across. This is quickly becoming my go to. I actually find myself entertained by lil Bubbles and I appreciate the journal prompts… sometimes I wanna write but don’t know what to write about. The inclusion of fonts and stickers is one of my favorite features. I love how nicely everything flows with text, too. I do wish there were either more stickers or an easier way to add them like a couple other popular note taking apps. I’m sticking around though, hopefully it’ll be added in the future ☺️ ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not free *2025-11-15, version 3.0.2* It asked for a subscription but I thought the app was free so before downloading it just keep that in mind ### 1/5 — It was going so well until… *2023-06-04* It was great at first! But then it said that in order to continue journaling I had to pay. I’m not doing that and I’m really sad because I was liking it.😔 **Developer response:** Hey there,  I'm so happy to hear that you had a lot of fun journaling with Bubbles! I'm sorry to hear that you found the pricing to be an issue. As an independent developer, I have spent three years working on this app while juggling part-time work and university. I have invested a lot of time and effort into creating a polished app that is not only functional but also visually appealing. I believe that my app is fairly priced compared to similar apps in the market. In addition, part of the income is donated to the German Depression Aid Foundation, in keeping with our theme of mindful journaling.  However, I understand that price might be a concern for some users.
