Love the password for privacy, love being able to write with my iPad pencil or type, move everything around and then add my fav ITunes videos, photos and place them wherever I want to. My go to app for anything! ### 4/5 — REALLY good..... but *2016-02-18, version 2.4* Since update I can't export anything from the app! Please fix it, I can't keep things on my iPad indefinitely. This is a fabulous app, which allows you to scrap photos, internet articles etc in a really fun way, which produces great results. You can also add paper clips or tape to 'hold your images in place' You can change font colour and size and also add post it notes and scrap papers, plus change the background page. However there are a few glitches and things I would like to see added. 1: App crashes when you try to change font 2: not available on iPhone or Mac 3: more coloured borders or paperclip/Pin styles would be fun. 4: It would be great if you could rotate frames slightly so they were overlapped at angles. 5: unless you want to keep lots of scrapbooks on your device, just go for the free version, paying for the full app gives you no extra features. ### 3/5 — It's great! But... *2015-12-09, version 2.3* The app crashes whenever I attempt to change the font so I am left with the the base options. I would love for that to be fixed by an update, and writing is not smooth at all and has an extremely slow response. Despite that I do not regret the purchase. Again, I would love an update to fix the bugs. Put them all in the scrapnote and then review all the info. It's better then any notes taker Forget about Notability or Remarks etc.... Thanks and let it like that it is perfect ### 3/5 — Nice but buggy *2015-08-04* The idea behinds the app is awesome. UI/UX is simple and easy to work with a little old fashioned. But it doesn't show me scrap's icons to change frames and settings of each scrap. Btw handwriting is near impossible. since the app responses to writing is super slow. Btw it doesn't have zoom option for focused writing. Wrist protection not working at least for me. If you are going to add multiple images from your gallery you have to do it one bye one. Imagine for 10 images you have to tap more than 50 times. The app seems very slow in general and it uses a lot of resources of my mini ipad 2. I use this app for writing using the keyboard and with its fantastic handwriting feature I can scribble my notes as well. What's also so amazing about this app is the scrap part where you can add anything from pictures to web pages all together with your typed or handwritten notes. Five stars is not enough I would give this amazing app a hundred stars if I could. The one thing and that is the only one I can find that is somewhat lacking is the ability to take notes by hand through an enlarged window, like Penultimate or Jotter. I have sent 11 messages and 5 emails and 0 responses. I can even see that they read the Facebook messages. It is a good app as long as you don’t need help with technical issue that prevents you from using it. Would not recommend buying this app! Now, after confidently putting a lot of time and information on many pages, it’s failing to the extent that I can’t access many of my scrapbooks and am afraid that if I continue to use the other books I might loose all of my information. I have left three emails with Groosoft support, pleading for help and receiving no reply. Bottom line: an app is only as good as its support. I guess I’m giving them ⭐️ for old times sake. Also, I believe it’s the minimum. ****************************************************************** [ I’ve tried a ton of apps to organize several projects (both personal and professional) and I keep coming back to Scrapnote. It’s fun and versatile. Even with it’s limitations, it has plenty to offer and the “limitations” actually make it easier to use. That means that I use it often and I get the job done. I’ve recommended this app to my friends and I would recommend it to you.] ### 1/5 — No Way to Bookmark into Scrapnote *2018-11-11* As promised, and the reason I got the app was to be able to do this - grab webpages or even better, parts of webpages and send them to this app. No option to do so. I even tried adding a note with the web address typed in....but it won't do anything! I can't even navigate within the note if I want to add something else...unless I want it at the very end of an existing note. Now I remember why I deleted it a few months ago. I thought I would try it again, but still useless for very basic things. Super cute and easy to use! ### 5/5 — Unique and useful *2020-12-24, version 2.6.1* This app lets you create iPad scrapbooks with material from several sources, like Pinterest or your own photographs. You can type notes in it, write something by hand or create drawings. You have the ability to resize, rotate and crop pictures. You can choose a font, font size and ink color for typed notes. I haven’t tried the drawing functions. If the author would work on it a little more, there are opportunities to create buy-in-application features, like more types of note backgrounds or beautiful “sticker packs.” As it stands, considering how useful and easy to use this app is, I think it is underpriced. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2018-12-02* I use it everyday. I haven't yet tried the app since it was updated as of October 2018, but I will try it out and write another update of this review. I'm glad the developers are paying attention to our reviews. Thank you so much. ------------ Previous Review: I am updating my review because I've found a problem inside the app. I wanted to create a Planner page, with a calendar and ruled lines. The first time, I chose the month of June, 2018. The second time, I chose the month of July, 2018. June came out very good, except that I didn't like when it printed out with a slight background tint. I wouldn't mind, but ink is very expensive. However, I printed it out anyway because I liked it. So, Here's where the problem occurs: The month of July, 2018, had a problem with the font. The letter Y was cut off from the bottom, making the Y look like the letter V instead. So it appears as: Julv instead of July. I'm hoping that the developer will see my review and correct the items I have mentioned above. Other than the above, here's what I wrote in my first review: Just updated. Got to see what's new before updating my review. Here's what I think: 1. I love the new papers. 2. I think the app could use two additional abilities, which are as follows: > Need the ability to print out your notes > Need ability to search within books The reason why we need the ability to search is because, as I was exploring the new papers, I wanted to send a page to my photos. I wasn't able to send the page until I came out of the app, went into my Settings on the iPad, and allowed access to my photos. But by the time I went back into the app, I had almost forgotten where the page was that I had been working on. Luckily, I found it right away. But it could have taken me a while to find it because I had created a number of books, each with various amounts of pages. A search function would be helpful and appreciated if it's at all possible.
