I have been trying this app again without having the subscription or the trial subscription and it seems like it works alright. There’s a decent amount of latency when it is on the tv, but it was able to detect the couple of devices on my network that were compatible and the connection was pretty easy to get working and I didn’t have to install any additional apps on my android tv. I really like the smart tv remote controller app Mando that you have a lot. I use it to cast my iPhone to Google Chromecast so I can stream movies and TV shows from websites that don’t have native Chromecast support. I’ve tried several other mirroring apps, but none have worked nearly as well or as reliably as Replica. I originally tried the free trial and was so impressed that I now pay for the service. At less than $1 a week, I think it’s absolutely worth the money, especially considering the quality and reliability. The only minor issue I’ve noticed is occasional audio crackling, which I assume is something to do with the conversion/mirroring process. Thankfully, it’s very infrequent and certainly doesn’t happen on every stream. Overall, Replica is easily the best screen-mirroring app I’ve used.
