Paused makes it much easier to protect your time from distracting apps without feeling too restrictive. I really like the scheduled shields and quick sessions, especially with the Focus Gate making you think twice before giving in. The progress system with streaks and a growing world is a nice touch that makes staying focused feel rewarding.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, David! You've summed up exactly what we were going for: protection from distracting apps that doesn't feel like a cage. We're really glad the Focus Gate gives you that moment to pause before giving in, and that watching your streaks and world grow makes staying focused feel rewarding. Thanks for taking the time to write this. — the Paused team
