## What is ScreenPlay Rewards?

ScreenPlay is a family rewards app that transforms screen time from a daily battleground into a privilege kids genuinely earn. Children accumulate points by completing chores and demonstrating positive behaviors, then redeem those points for minutes on their favorite devices: PlayStation, iPad, TV, Computer, or Nintendo Switch. Parents set the rules: which tasks earn points, which behaviors result in deductions, how much each device costs per child, and whether balances carry over week to week. Kids log in on their own device, submit the tasks they completed each day, and watch their balance grow as parents approve submissions in real time. A built-in countdown timer enforces limits automatically, a family leaderboard sparks friendly sibling competition, and every element of the system is customizable to fit the way your family actually lives. ScreenPlay doesn't just manage screen time it teaches kids that effort has value, choices have consequences, and the things worth having are worth working for.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.5.1 — 2026-09-24

Getting Started guide is now easier to find — access it right from setup, the sign-in screen, or Family Settings anytime you need a refresher.

Fixed a display bug where a child's point total didn't visually reset to zero at the start of a new week for families with weekly rollover turned off.

Fixed the number pad staying on screen after entering a parent PIN to stop a screen time timer early.

Simplified setting the family unlock PIN — it's now a single step instead of two.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-17

New: Activity Timers for tasks — mark any task with a time target (reading, practice, chores) and your kids get a pausable countdown to track it, separate from the screen-time timer
Reorganized tasks & penalties for a cleaner, easier-to-manage list
Smoother parent dashboard — sections now remember whether you had them expanded or collapsed, quicker task controls, and a confirmation step before deleting a child profile so it can't happen by accident
New: Family Analytics & Data Export — see screen time granted vs. used at a glance, plus a "Top Tasks" view showing what's earning the most points. Family plan members can now export their family's full activity history as a CSV file
Improved reliability for data export
iPad support — ScreenPlay now runs natively on iPad, with layouts refined throughout the app for the bigger screen
