I have had numerous issues technically that are always fixed quickly by Bridger. Recently I had an issue that I never received a reply for. Is Bridger gone? He was amazing at tech support. Now, I’m having an issue every single class meeting, where my new Apple Pencil pro disconnects from scribble, but not iPad. Why does scribble stop recognizing pencil for writing while tools work fine?!? I cannot continue with this issue. I am able to project with my computer but use my iPad to write. This allows me to send my notes to my special education students immediately in class which allows them to see the notes at their desk as I write them out. I also send the link to notes to my special education students’ case managers which cuts down on extra work for me later. Same with the vector pen, makes taking quick doodles for notes so much easier. So please add the above •Utter nitpick: an app icon different than the stussy would be nice; and while I really like the 3DLive background, I would prefer being able to choose just a singular color. I think there’s an option and I’m just blind so, I’ll fix this when I find it. ### 3/5 — Highlighter, brush sizes, color picker *2022-10-20, version 3.1* The thing that shines with this app is the way I can easily connect to another person and doodle or slightly annotate together in real time. The problem with this app is the lack of features. If you expect people to pay monthly, then we need to see this app mature in basic features. If I want to highlight on a PDF, I have to use the horrid shape tool which is not productive. Can we please get a normal highlighter. Can we please get different sizes for each brush, erase (not just delete) a full page, full spectrum of colors via a color picker and allow the user to choose their own color swatches. Basic things. This app. is a life saver for tutors, you can upload worksheets and attach it to your whiteboard , you can draw straight lines and circles, sending a whiteboard invite to a student is seamless and easy to do and most important of all students love this app! All boards can be exported as PDF.You can also import PDF documents and worksheets into scribble and work on them during the session.This is the only interactive whiteboard that has come close to perfection! You can also rename all your boards and they are automatically time stamped. Monthly subscription is a bargain! ### 5/5 — Almost perfect *2022-09-13, version 3.0* Update: They’ve fixed pretty much everything I originally had an issue with—I still think this is one of the best whiteboard apps out there! This is by far the best white board app I’ve found on the white board so far, but there are a few things that are missing. First, there should be a way to select the color theme manually. My iPad is always on dark mode, but I’d much rather write on a whiteboard than blackboard. Also, there should be a clear canvas option. I use this app a lot for jotting down scratch work and it’s really annoying I always need to use the selection tool to clear the canvas. And why does pressing on one of the buttons below open (like the marker button) always open up the additional options? It’s a small thing but it really bugs me; it should be a double tap to open up additional options since I don’t want to see those every time I change from the pen to eraser. If these things are fixed I’d be more than happy to give this app 5 stars. ### 5/5 — Perfect for remote tutoring with a pdf workbook *2022-09-10, version 3.0* First time ever writing a review for an app. This app is exactly what I needed for tutoring students remotely! I can import their workbook as a pdf and then we can work on it together in real time. I can see what they’re writing and make corrections, I love the use of the laser pointer tool, and the scrolling together feature is great to keep us on the same page (literally!). It is by far the most flawless, convenient and productive collaborative app available. To work with anyone on almost anything is as simple as turning on an iPad. Even several years after I wrote the above, Scribble remains the most valuable app I have ever used. As an educator often dealing with remote learning, this is unquestionably the best shared whiteboard app available. Then later of the day (I have finished a board that I was planning to use for teaching ), I downloaded the iPhone’s app and linked them. No lag time, even with multiple collaborators. What’s nice is that students can even upload their worksheets for homework and we can work on the actual worksheet together. Afterwards, students can turn in that pdf. I even had a student for organic chemistry who uploaded her textbook. Together, we were able to annotate and do practice problems right on the pdf version of her textbook. Online musste sein, aber womit? Ich habe damals mehrere Apps ausprobiert und bin bei scribble geblieben. Das Abo hat sich für mich ausgezahlt. Im Laufe der Monate kamen und kommen immer wieder Verbesserungen dazu. Der Support ist 1. Klasse. Innerhalb von weniger als 24 Stunden gibt es eine Antwort, trotz Zeitverschiebung. Ich bin begeistert und freue mich auf die weitere Arbeit mit scribble. Wenn ein Board voll ist wird ein Nächstes erstellt. Meine Schüler*innen freuen sich, dass sie scribble auch dann nutzen können, wenn nicht gemeinsam gearbeitet wird. Weiter so! UPDATE: Ich bin immer noch begeistert und freue mich über die stetigen Verbesserungen.
