## What is Scribe?

Scribe lets you copy anything from your Mac to your mobile device, without Wi-Fi.

Select text, links, numbers or small images, and simply press “COMMAND + SHIFT + X” to instantly transfer your selection from your Mac to your iOS Device.

See your sent history, copy, enter URL links, call or add contact numbers, and share items in a great interface.

NEW UPDATE: Scribe now routes your snippet directly into other apps! You can now send an address directly into the Maps app, send copied text directly into Whatsapp as a new message or Twitter as a new tweet! Pressing “CMD + SHIFT + X” now gives you a menu where you can select the iOS app you want to send your copied item to. Just swipe the notification you receive, and let Scribe do the rest. 

Scribe uses Bluetooth Low Energy™; a new technology that constantly keeps your devices paired and provides a secure connection without eating up your battery life. You can literally use it all day and not feel the sting on your iPhone’s battery.

Since it doesn't rely on Wi-Fi, Scribe doesn't require a network connection to work. All you need are the devices you are already using.

I can’t even get the app until y’all at least update to 15.1. Y’all are extremely behind for the iPhones and I won’t be having them type of problematic issues just lurking around on my iPhone due to your application. Fix it, I may be a returning customer, IF not, peace out! My husband (being an Apple Developer) and myself just dabbing my feet into it, apps like this are dominating and they’re gonna pass yours in time and I mean STOMP on yours if y’all don’t play, “Ketchup”. Lol! All In all, wish you the best of luck but it’s disappointing that y’all are this behind. *Tisk Tisk*

I found your handy app while looking for a solution to copy text between Apple devices without Wi-Fi. I have been able to use Scribe to copy from my Mac to my iPhone, which is cool. 

Am I correct in understanding that the app is only designed to work in that direction, or is it also possible to copy text from an iOS device to the Mac (which is really what I find myself wanting to do more often)?

I was looking for a quick and reliable way to transfer images from my Mac to my phone. Once I figured out what I was doing (terrible onboarding) and I go to transfer my first images the software gives me a warning stating it works best for URL's and text snippets, not large files such as images. 

Your description says your software can transfer images and it doesn't do it. Very disappointing and more than a little misleading. 

I hate giving negative reviews but saying your product does something it doesn't is a big no-no in my book.

Total waste of time. It says " copy anything from Mac to iPhone " it doesn't copy "anything" I wanted to copy a video, get the message " sorry we don't support that file".  
Not quite sure that the developers understand the true meaning of " anything "

I wanted to like this app, but seriously - being only able to copy from Mac to iPhone is only ½ a solution.  Need to be able to do the reverse. Implement that and you’ll get more customers and stars.

I wanted to love this app because its function is a super simple and helpful one that is missing from iOS, but it doesn't work properly and constantly fails to recognize my phone that is paired to my Macbook, forcing me to repair and uninstall everything for it to function. Tired of fussing around to make this work.
