Play all the audiobooks you've added to your Scribl library, including paid and free audiobooks and Podiobooks (audiobooks as podcasts). Supports background audio to play whenever and wherever you want. All paid titles feature Scribl's CrowdPricing ($CP), where prices are set by the fans. If you're looking for self-published audiobooks, Scribl has you covered. Use Scribl's Story Elements to find the fiction or true stories you'll love. Search by Elements that define the main character, like gender or religion. Search by Elements that define the setting, like time period, or use of magic or technology. Search by Elements that define the mood of the book, like mystery, humor, and romance. Combine these in any way you want to define your own genres and view only the books that match your preferences. We have recently added Knowledge Books. These are nonfiction books on the topics our self-publishing authors know well. LIMITATIONS WITH THE CURRENT VERSION Only supports playing audiobooks (not yet ebooks) from your Scribl library. You can currently only add titles to your library at Scribl.com. Which is kinda interesting seeing as how I’m connected to that World Wide Web thing, on the Scribl.com website and interacting with THAT very website by searching and finding the podcast I’m looking for. Only good thing I can see is Apple doesn’t get the blame. This time. Oh yeah, the only way to listen on the app is to access the website, put something in your library, and abracadabra it’s available in the app. Except, WHAT’S THE POINT OF THE APP IF YOU HAVE TO USE A BROWSER? ### 2/5 — Glitched Disappoinment *2022-02-18* I've been listening to an audiobook series on anoy app and they didn't have the last three books. This app does have them, for free, but the audio was just a distorted, garbled mess for a couple of the books I tried to download and play. Lke the website, but the app NEVER works right. My favorite book which plays perfectly fine on the website but without the autoplay feature, plays like garbage on the app. On the app, The readers voice sounds like a managled cassette tape track. It happens on every book, every time. ### 3/5 — Pinpoint a story? *2021-05-12* There's not a chance I can pin down a story I've listened to before and it's been making me crazy since this doesn't work as advertised. Tell me how to find a multi season story of 3 ordinary 21st century young adults transferred to a magical land, Mike's name is changed to Meek, they begin begin baking with a woman from the lands and … ? I've never found the particular story or a shiny new interesting one just by searching elements. Too bad. ### 1/5 — ME TOO! *2020-05-11* NO APP ACCESS & HAVING TROUBLE VERIFYING MY ACCOUNT! HELP!!!! I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO BUY SOME BOOKS FROM SCRIBL!!!!! **Developer response:** The Scribl app improves the ease of listening to the audiobooks you have in your existing library at Scribl.com. It's not a stand-alone experience. You cannot create an account or add books to your library in the app. You must do those on the web site.
