Second I need to be able to add entires for past days because I am a night owl. It’s after midnight right now and I need to write an entry for yesterday which technically ended 40 minutes ago but I am still awake so it’s still today to me. Guess what. I can’t in this app. Also, if my phone’s battery dies or if my phone gets lost or broken, I still want to be able to have access to my entries and to be able to keep writing new entries. This why syncing across devices is important. ### 1/5 — Cannot change entries *2019-06-12* Cannot change entry after selecting done Cannot change settings like removing passcode Not true journal. **Developer response:** Hi cwdancer42 — You can edit an entry by swiping from left to right in the entry list and tapping the edit button. Support for changing settings, including passcode, will be coming soon in v2.0. ### 2/5 — I want to love it....but needs work pt2 *2019-09-16* The layout and format of adding multiple entries per day is a fantastic tool for my job. I do have a few complaints/things I wish would change: 1) I realized today that I forgot to add a note for a few days ago, and apparently you are unable to add any new notes to past dates. 2.) I am also unable to edit titles of notes once they have been entered 3) If I do not hit “Done” during a note entry, I can lose the entire note, it doesn’t save as a draft, (a very unfortunate discovery!) 4) Text size! Holy wow! Reviewing old notes and font will have randomly grown to size 33, or 28, for not reason, i have to go back and edit the post itself to adjust the size. Not great for reviewing sensitive information on a flight or crowded space. 9/15 *****5) The app now takes me to the wrong date, months off even years, and I have to scroll all the way back to present date. Hopefully it updates soon. I’m on the look out for an alternative. 9/15***** Have moved to Planner Pro. Layout not what I hoped for and allows pop-up ads, but can take photos/add photos to notes. Thank you for the info on editing notes/titles I look forward to the update! Will it also enable users to add new notes to past dates? Will notes be saved as draft if “done” is not hit before leaving the app? **Developer response:** IMO.no.8million — Thanks for your feedback! You may edit the content of an entry, including it’s title, by swiping from left-to-right and tapping the blue edit button. Any chances to the title or entry itself will automatically be saved when you hit done. The text size issue is a bug and it will be corrected in v2.0. The fix is already in place. Version 2.0 will be released soon, so stay tuned! ### 3/5 — Fonts grow gigantic, please fix *2021-03-29* Excellent, then when I edit and close the entry, the fonts get grow bigger and bigger. Please fix this glitch ASAP. Otherwise, an awesome diary. ### 3/5 — Good journal but has a small bug *2020-08-20* This is a good app for journaling or notes. It’s simple, which is what I like most about it. There’s no unnecessary animations or over stylized screens. It’s great. One issue (!), there is a bug with the font size. Every time I open an entry to edit it the font size increases. It’s a bit annoying, but I’m not deleting the app over it. ### 3/5 — >cough< Where is Version 2? *2020-08-06* Dev responded to several reviews nearly a year ago (fall 2019) that some bugs would be fixed in Version 2. **Note about adding notes to past dates** Go into device Settings, General, Date & Time - then turn off set date automatically, then set device date and time to date when you want to add a note. Once you've added your note, be sure to go back to Settings and turn on set date automatically. ### 4/5 — New app for me *2019-05-07* To early to make intelligent assessment but initial experience seems very good. **Developer response:** Thanks very much for your feedback! Thank you. ### 5/5 — I like it *2020-01-01* This is a good app but the only thing I would like to add is the ability to add to daily journal entry after I press done . I like that I can add pictures from my IPad if I remember to press the paper clip first before pressing DONE. **Developer response:** Hi Jim! You are able to edit existing entries to add new content or attachments. Just hit the edit button, or swipe left on the entry in the list to display a menu and then hit the edit button. Hope that helps!! ### 5/5 — Finally a legitimate FREE journal! *2019-12-09* Yeah so this journal doesn’t have some tacked on crappy subscription service or time limit fee, it’s literally completely free! The layout takes time to get used to but i love it, it does the job.
