### 1/5 — Does Not Work

*2026-05-18*

First of all, you have to break down your scripts into ACT and SCENE since it cannot import any PDF larger than 200kb. Secondly, even after doing that, many of my files could not be imported due to a “parsing error”. Lastly, for the pdf pages that manage to get imported, the voice recognition doesn’t even work so you still have to manually tap the screen to progress to the next line. There are also annoying bugs which cause the app to freak out. I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed feedback this is exactly what I need to hear.

I want to be straight with you: I don't know yet whether the issues you hit are still present in the latest build. The PDF size limit, the parsing errors, and the cue recognition on iPhone 17 Pro Max are all things I'm actively working on, but I haven't reproduced your specific failures yet.

I'm an indie developer, not an actor I depend on feedback from working actors to find the workflow edge cases I can't see from the outside. If you'd be willing to send me 2–3 of the specific PDFs that failed (even just the ones with parsing errors), I can trace exactly where the parser breaks.

Please email me at peter.lavskiy@gmail.com

I'd like to extend 12 months of free access as thanks for your time, and I'd genuinely value a brief call or even a short screen recording showing the cue recognition failure on your device.
I respond to every review and every email. The issues you raised are real and I want to make them right.

### 4/5 — Future of Line Learning

*2026-06-06*

Updating my previous review. This app was very buggy and frustrating to use. I gave it a fair chance, but always ended up going back to the app I’ve used for years. That being said, the developer is extremely dedicated in making this app the best line learning app on the market. He has been very responsive to my inquiries and has been working very hard pushing out updates with new features and quality of life improvements. I’m positive that in due time, this will be the best app for actors who want to work on their lines. I’m giving the app 4 stars because it has come a long way and the developer actively works with feedback. It has become quite a viable line learning app. I have a feeling I will be rating it 5 stars in the near future.

**Developer response:** Really appreciate the updated review and the time you've put into testing. The app is better because of feedback like yours. More improvements to PDF import and rehearsal mode are coming in the next updates.

### 5/5 — Yo yo

*2026-07-30*

Very useful export audio to written text, thank you.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your response, stay tuned for future updates.

### 5/5 — Really good, with room to improve

*2026-05-26*

I drop my screenplay in, and a second later I'm running lines.
That's pretty much it. No setup, no fiddling, no fifty menus to dig through.
Cue detection picks things up well, though it's not perfect yet. And while I'd love a vertical self-tape option someday, what's already here has made running my movie sides so much easier.

**Developer response:** Thank you "drop it in and run lines a second later" is exactly the bar I was aiming for, so it means a lot that it landed.

You're right that cue detection isn't perfect yet it's the thing I'm working on most. And vertical self-tape is noted and wanted; recording is landscape-locked for now, but a portrait option is something I want to get right. Appreciate you taking the time to write this up.

### 5/5 — Great but small suggestions!

*2026-05-21*

Importing screenplay PDFs is really straightforward, and the app doesn't try to do too much. It stays focused on what matters. I've been using it to rehearse with my movie sides and it's made the process so much easier. One thing I wish it did was split sides into scenes automatically not all of mine come already split, so that would save some time.

Also, the developer support is responsive and helpful.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the review really glad the app is making rehearsals easier.

Auto-splitting sides into scenes is a smart suggestion. Adding it to the feature list. Appreciate you taking the time to share what would make it even better.
