## What is Scriptorium?

Read a short passage of Scripture each day, then paint the scene it tells. Day by day, what you read becomes a book of your own.

Most of us mean to read the Bible every day and lose the thread by the second week. Scriptorium makes each day small enough to finish: a few verses, a short note, a prayer, and one illustrated scene to bring to life while the words settle.

HOW A DAY WORKS
• Read: today's passage from the Berean Standard Bible, word for word, with a short note on where it fits. Tap a verse to underline it.
• Paint: give the day's scene its colors, one numbered area at a time. Choose Easy, Standard or Detailed; Find shows you an area you've missed.
• It comes alive: when the last area is filled, your finished painting appears in full, and many scenes move for a few seconds to quiet music.
• Respond: write a line or a prayer, if you like.

JOURNEYS YOU CAN FINISH
• The Life of Jesus, from the angel's visit to Mary to the first days of the church
• Stories of the Old Testament, from Creation to the return from exile
• Psalms & Rest, for quieter days
• Seasons: Christmas, Holy Week and Easter, and Thanksgiving, which appear when their time comes
One passage a day, in order. 229 days in all.

YOUR OWN ILLUSTRATED BIBLE
Every scene you finish is filed in My Bible beside its passage, the lines you underlined and what you wrote. Turn its pages, export the whole book as a PDF to keep or print, or share a page as a picture or a short video.

QUIET BY DESIGN
No ads and no account. Your reading and your paintings stay on your device. Set an optional daily reminder for the time you read. On iPad the passage and the painting sit side by side, like an open book.
