The veterinarian put her on 5 mg of METHIMAZOLE two times a day which is 60 pills a month.(This drug happens to also be a human prescription); therefore I didn’t have to get pet meds. The veterinarian filled my first prescription as I needed it right away. He charged me $.59 a pill; next prescription I went to Walgreens with a Good RX card that I got online, it cost me $.26 a pill which was a better price. For the next prescription refill I took a chance and checked out Retailmenot.com and was surprised that I could get discounted prescription for even less money. I checked the price of the same medication on the RxSaver website and saw that it came to 6 cents a pill! So I downloaded a RxSaver card and went to my local Walgreens pharmacy with my RX SAVER card and was surprised that it truly dead only came to six cents a pill! I will recommend RX SAVER to anyone who needs a prescription whether a human or a pet.
