### 4/5 — Awesome bible study tool

*2020-09-13*

This is such an awesome bible study resource unlike what I have used even the Mac version. I only wish it will be upgraded to support the recent Apple OS on the MacBook because I do my bible study there a lot😀

### 4/5 — Nice

*2017-12-03*

I like the app but wish you a an Old Testament version.

### 4/5 — Useful thank you

*2017-05-01, version 1.50*

This is a very useful and easy to use app for studying the Greek NT text. Many thanks!

There is only one flaw, and that's the lack of copy-to-clipboard. Even just one word at a time would do, with a long press, and should be easy to program. I use an interlinear usually when writing, so need to copy and paste nearly every time I use the app.

### 5/5 — Fabulous

*2016-07-21*

Nice to have a current Greek New Testament on my iPhone❣

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2016-07-05*

Very nice! I like I can tap a word and immediately see the English word. Awesome.

### 5/5 — Thank You!

*2016-03-20*

Only free Greek interlinear I could find in the apple App Store. Does its job with an adequate dictionary that's accessible by clicking the word while reading.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2016-03-08*

I use this app quite a bit now. Love the simplicity of the user interface. It's great when I want to quickly look at the text.

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2015-05-22*

This app is amazing , explain you every word, different meanings of a word and with respectively their examples, it is very cool!

### 5/5 — What a nice gift!

*2015-05-21*

Wow, this is the latest UBS, Nestle Aland text! No Byzantine Text form, Textus Receptus or other less up to date texts. Also the lexicon, conjugation and declension guides are very nice for a free app.
The app. Is very in-depth and user friendly. I hope the Hebrew Interlinear is still on it's way.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Study Tool

*2014-10-10, version 1.33*

I have used the Louw-Nida lexicon for years, and now I have an inter linear text linked to it. This is an incredible tool for study and research and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in growing their understanding of the Scriptures. It is easy to use and full of very helpful information!

### 5/5 — Great help

*2014-07-31, version 1.33*

The app does a really great job at helping you find the meaning of Bible words. It shows you different possible meanings and lists additional translation words. I find this really helpful when studying God's word.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Woeful Deliberately Protestant translation

*2024-02-25, version 3.0.2*

A shallow and deliberately Protestant translation misleading readers and robbing much of the depth and beauty and truth of ‘the Word’. ..eg:- Take, eat, ‘‘this IS My Body” is translated as ‘ this represents my body’. Lord have mercy!
Also καρδιά (heart) eg John 14:27 is translated ‘inner being’ or opinion or mind… 😡

### 1/5 — Non Inspired Version

*2023-12-01*

Not based on the Received Text from Antioch but rather on the corrupt text from Alexandria. Revelation 22:14 is telltale.

### 1/5 — Very biased translation

*2016-10-31*

Translations are clearly dispensational / evangelical biased. A Reformed believer would disagree with probably at least 25% of the translation definitions.
If you are going to produce an inter linear translation, at least make some sort of effort to be unbiased, and take into consideration word definitions from theologians over several centuries and not just certain theologians of the last 50 years . . .

### 1/5 — Really really basic and over priced

*2014-05-07, version 1.33*

It does a basic job, no other Bible versions just verse the Greek, no frills but currently charge 60% more compared to other Greek Interlinear bible. I bought both, regretted buying this one.

### 2/5 — Words

*2014-12-11, version 1.33*

It's verse for verse, but not word for word. This makes it impossible to see whether certain words are missing from certain versions.

### 2/5 — Not Best Lexicon

*2014-06-20, version 1.33*

The maneuverability through this app is excellent. Organization is excellent. Ability to find passages is excellent. However, the translations are mundane and don't reflect late 20th century scholarship and historical references. The Lexicon does not reflect the complexity of the Greek eg. makairon (transliteration from Matthew 10.34 c). The instrument was a long knife used at the altar of sacrifice to separate the portion offered to God from that left for the priests. This app translates it only as a sword, war, death, discord. We lose important alternative readings because of this deficiency throughout the lexicon.

### 3/5 — Sort of...

*2019-10-14*

Apparently only includes Gospels and Acts. Disappointing. Not sure why Apple wanted credit card verification for a free app...

### 3/5 — Not bad.

*2016-05-23*

This is probably the best free interlinear Bible app on the App Store at the moment. It is easy to use and provides a comprehensive display of the Greek. The reason why I gave it three stars instead of five is because it corrupts the English translation of the Words of Institution in all three Synoptic Gospels to conform to a certain belief instead of providing a literal translation. Other than that it is a very good app. I would recommend it to all people trying to better understand the Bible.

### 3/5 — Good but not great.

*2014-03-23, version 1.32*

I am so amateur that my review should be skipped, but if you are still reading try the other Greek interlinear app by photoKandy Studios. It's really nice and has much more options.

### 4/5 — Good but glitch

*2021-06-24, version 3.0.2*

I use the app often. It’s really helpful.
I’ve just noticed in the one I have that Ephesians 1:4-14 is missing I think because the previous verses are 1:3-14 not 3-4

Any chance of getting this looked at

Peter

### 5/5 — AMAZING APP!

*2023-03-01*

This app has been amazing to use in my own personal Bible study, but also as a minister, this app has been a great quick resource to double check an English translation Bible to make sure my teaching lines up with the original Greek and is not based solely on an English construction perhaps not quite evident in the original texts. The only apps I use more than this one is email and maps! I can’t believe it’s free! Thanks so very much Scripture Direct!

### 5/5 — Best ever

*2022-03-25*

This is the best free New Testament Greek Interlinear resource ever. I use it DAILY.

### 5/5 — Best interlinear app for iOS

*2020-03-26, version 1.50*

Very good 👍🏻

### 5/5 — Love it

*2020-03-07, version 1.50*

This is my go-to Bible app. So useful to check the real meaning of the word heard in English. Who knew that God loves a hilarious giver! That hypocrite means an actor or pretender? Offers so much and for free.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-01-23, version 1.50*

This is an awesome app for Biblical Greek. Easy to use and it does so much. Where I need 4-6 books/resources for translation, this app does in a touch. I’m so grateful to the developer. Wish I could know who he/she is. I want to thank personally.

### 5/5 — I needed this!

*2019-11-29*

Best Greek to English manuscript app when debating scripture

### 5/5 — Great help for a student...

*2018-12-23*

As a beginning NT Greek student, I love this app. It’s very helpful, for those of us who fumble our way through Lexicons. I would highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2018-01-21*

Great app. I like it so much, I use it on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook! Yes, the design is a bit out of date, but you can’t beat the price!

### 5/5 — Thumbs up!

*2017-05-01*

This is a potent Scripture study tool.
My gratitude is immense to those who have produced it.
Those wanting to understand closer to firsthand the nuances of the Greek will greatly appreciate this tool.
Suggestions:
1. Build in memory to the horizontal book selection menu allowing quicker return to the last passage viewed.
2. In the "Examples" function make each scriptural reference a link, with easy return to the previous screen.
Blessings to all!

### 5/5 — Clean, funcional, and useful

*2016-11-08*

I have not studied Greek and normal Do not get into it much. But I came upon a few passages that I wanted to get into deeper. This app has helped tremendously. Clean and easy to use. Greek was a rich language that has meaning behind the words. This helps pull out the richness. Thanks
