## What is Scroll Court?

Order in the court.

Scroll Court is a screen time app with a sense of humour. Tell it which apps eat your time. When you scroll too long, the Honourable Phone (a small, stern judge in a wig) hands down a verdict.

No lectures. No guilt trips. Just a judge who has seen your feed and is not impressed.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose the accused. Pick the apps, categories or websites you want judged.
2. Go about your day. Judging starts by itself and stays on.
3. Receive your verdicts. The longer you scroll in one sitting, the sterner they get.

ONE SCREEN, ONE COLOUR

Open the app and the colour tells you where you stand: green when all is well, yellow once the verdicts start, coral when you are guilty. One sentence from the judge says the rest.

THE VERDICTS

• Opening Statement
• The Court Is Concerned
• Evidence of Doom Scrolling
• Guilty of Thumb Negligence
• Maximum Sentence: Touch Grass Break

Choose how strict the court is: Lenient, Fair or Strict. On Fair, the first verdict arrives at 5 minutes and the last at 45.

At the maximum sentence, the accused apps close for a break of 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour, whichever you choose. Serve your time, or file an appeal and face a retrial. The court never locks you out for good.

Verdicts count one sitting at a time. Put the phone down for five minutes and the next session starts with a clean record.

NO SETUP HEADACHES

• Works automatically. No timers, no start button to remember.
• No account. No sign-up.
• Everything stays on your iPhone. Nothing is collected.
• Need a recess? Pause for an hour, until tomorrow, or until you say so.
• Verdicts are time-sensitive, so they reach you mid-scroll.
• Siri and Shortcuts: "Pause Scroll Court."

FULL COURT (ONE-TIME PURCHASE)

Unlock once, keep it forever. No subscription.

• The court's own sounds: a gavel that knocks harder with every verdict
• Two more voices on the bench, each with their own verdicts and sound: the Disappointed Coach and his whistle, and the Overdramatic Narrator and his orchestra

Without Full Court, verdicts use the standard notification sound.

Scroll Court uses Apple's Screen Time technology. It can tell when the apps you chose are in use, and nothing else. It cannot see what you do inside them.

Scroll Court is for entertainment and personal habit-building. It is not a medical or mental health product.
