I thought this was an app that would provide me with interesting topics or articles that would make me “scroll smarter”. Instead i was scrolling videos of a dog saving their owner and a lady singing. Great stories and visuals. All stories featuring animals, nature and many feel good stories. But recently it has become a political voice of hatred. The once great app that you could use to get away from the political social hatred has become one itself. I didn’t want to do it, but I had to delete it. ************************** Today I reinstalled Mix under a different user email. One last try, I’ll see if I can enjoy it as before but if the political hatred filters in I will permanently delete it. Was directed to this app. It’s nothing like stumbleupon, which would take you to what felt like a very curated mix of unique and cool websites. Maybe you have to pay for everything cool these days? But once I got on the app, it was just a bunch of videos that I could have seen on TikTok, but worse quality. Where else can you drive through a tunnel in Utah and be splashed with a mountain view coming out the other end. And no need to take your eyes off the road and risk a crash. Or take a train ride through the Swiss Alps from the comfort of my wheel chair, while eating a Hagen Doz.
