### 2/5 — The good and the not so good

*2026-09-06*

EDIT - I am going to lower the rating until someone fixes this issue of asking me to rate the app every time I open it regardless of the fact I have already rated it and left a review. The app should be able to check the flag of whether the user - me - has already rated the app or not. This is basic.

There are some interesting features about this app that make it a win. Like the per verse options to dig deeper into the meaning and make notes and favorite them as well as others. The swipe, which seems to be the theme of the app is interesting but I think it’s been taken too far. For example, if I want to read the chapter it confusingly still presents it as one verse at a time and I have to swipe for each verse. And more still are those verses that don’t fit in the small window in the middle of the screen so I have to swipe left to see the rest of the text. That is unnecessary because there is plenty of white space on the screen already to show the whole verse.

Suggestions for the creator:
- option to scroll the chapter rather than verse by verse. This is specifically about when I’m reading by chapter, not the random verses.
- whole verse shown regardless of font size when there is room on the screen
- a study more contextual option that opens up the chapter and gives more context around the whole setting and purpose for that writing. Maybe call it chapter study mode or something.

### 4/5 — Very good idea but i am French so it’s difficult to understand all the verses.

*2026-09-04*

Maybe can you make an option in the Seating of the app to change de language to French ??

### 2/5 — Not good experience

*2026-09-02*

Not a good app. Also Renee’s subscription without any heads up and no invoice.

### 5/5 — Add ESV Translation

*2026-09-01, version 1.20*

Love the app's design, but it is missing the English Standard Version (ESV). The ESV is widely considered by modern scholars and pastors to be one of the most accurate, word-for-word (essentially literal) translations available today because it uses the latest critical manuscript data. Adding the ESV would instantly make this app a top-tier tool for serious Bible study and attract a massive community of readers who rely on it daily. Please consider adding it!

### 5/5 — Too early

*2026-09-01, version 1.20*

It asked to review before I attempted anything

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-09-01, version 1.19*

Amazing

### 5/5 — So impressed

*2026-09-01, version 1.19*

Game changer with the way I can now study scripture. Switched over from another well known bible app to this one and this one is so much more engaging. I also was able to delete my doomscroll app of choice :)

### 5/5 — The Best

*2026-09-01, version 1.19*

It fills my heart with peace as soon as I start reading.

### 3/5 — The price is my only issue

*2026-09-01, version 1.19*

It’s a very nice concept, i’d pay the yearly subscription for $15 rather than $30, but I suppose there’s a good bit of work put into it. i’m still considering

### 5/5 — Randomize option

*2026-08-31, version 1.19*

I love this app it is very good, I wish there was an option to randomize verses. After scrolling on to a verse that speaks to you, you the option to investigate it further. I think that would be really cool

### 3/5 — Translations

*2026-08-31, version 1.19*

Kind of shocked they don’t have the ESV translation. Thinking I’ll wait for that instead of starting a subscription and waiting.

### 4/5 — Be able to play sound

*2026-08-31, version 1.19*

So I can drive and listen

### 5/5 — ADD

*2026-08-30, version 1.19*

Mannn this makes it a lot easier to read! Instead of jumping up multiple verses and even down then finding where I was it’s one at a time. I really like it

### 5/5 — iPad

*2026-08-30, version 1.19*

I really enjoy this app on my phone. Are there any plans to make it more usable for the iPad.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-30, version 1.19*

I struggle picking up my physical Bible and reading it. This app helps me read through scripture effortlessly.

### 4/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-30, version 1.19*

I love this app. It’s really amazing. I just wish I could search a specific verse and use it not just a scroll, but also to look up a specific verse.. also maybe a daily verse upon opening just a suggestion. Keep this going it’s great im pushing it for my teen and her friends

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t Use the App

*2026-09-02, version 1.20*

Promotion subscription of $19.99 for a year with a 3 day trial. Sure, why not. Then I literally get pushed back to another subscription screen for a higher price and can’t get past it. Subscription is through my Apple account and no option to bypass that way. Unfortunate, subscription cancelled and app uninstalled.

### 1/5 — Subscription

*2026-08-31, version 1.19*

You have to pay a subscription to use this. Buying it is the sin of simony.

### 1/5 — NO ACCESS UNLESS YOU PAY

*2026-08-31, version 1.19*

I downloaded it, but I have to pay a subscription just to participate in using it… the Lord said to spread the word, but people like you block access to said word behind a paywall? A hypocrite like the Pharisee. I’m deleting your app. As a Christian, I cannot and WILL not support a creator that spreads the word behind a paywall..

This would’ve been such a good idea. People already don’t read the word as it is, but then charging to use it is only going to push them further away…

This is why God HATES you Esauans/Edomites. Idk why I’m outraged or even surprised anymore.

### 1/5 — Said free trial and charged me immediately

*2026-08-30, version 1.19*

Also, asked me to rate it right after I downloaded it. Makes no sense at all. Haven’t even looked at it yet.

### 1/5 — Disgusting

*2026-08-29, version 1.19*

Social Media is free. The Word of God is free. For an app that claims to try to replace social media and bring Christians to something better, charging 30 dollars a year is crazy. That isn’t a social media replacement. That’s trying to make a buck. If there was a way to proceed for free in the app that I missed, my apologies. If there was it was still unclear and meant to make me pay.

### 1/5 — Unfair charge

*2026-08-29, version 1.19*

I canceled this subscription well within the 7-day free trial period. I stopped using it after 2 days and even deleted the app off my phone. I was still charged the annual fee for it.

### 1/5 — Impossible to cancel

*2026-08-29, version 1.19*

I love the concept of this but I tried canceling before the free trial was over and couldn’t. I have since tried multiple times to cancel on their website after being charged and have been unable. I also messaged them on their Facebook page more support and no answer. Super disappointing

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-08-28, version 1.19*

This app is not free. If it is then the user experience needs improvement because before you even get to use the app they want you to pay for it. I’m all for paying and supporting developers but let people use the app first before asking them for money.

### 1/5 — Yes but no

*2026-08-28, version 1.19*

Gods word should be free.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-28, version 1.19*

Tried several times to cancel free trial. Was unable to and billed my card.

### 5/5 — Digital study Bible

*2026-09-10*

I am not always able to achieve the picture perfect image of “quiet time” in a cozy corner with my coffee and paper Bible for an extended period of time. Now, thanks to this app, I get all the benefits of my study Bible (and more!) from this app - for those times when time in the Word looks like scrolling my phone for a few minutes at a time. I’m much more consistent because of how accessible it is. All the tabs on each verse to “explain easier” and “deeper study” are CLUTCHHHH, I’m telling you! It has made reading the Bible fun and understandable.
I would like to see a “read aloud” feature in future updates! 👀🤞🏼🙏🏼

### 5/5 — My favorite bible app

*2026-09-09*

‼️You don’t need a subscription to use this app after the trial runs out, just for the extra features like deeper study‼️For me personally, I don’t really use the further study options, they are really neat but i mostly use this app to keep track of what books/chapters I’ve read and completed. And i absolutely love it. I use it daily with no issues. And I love that I don’t have to take in a lot of scripture at one time just in small increments, which is the reasoning for designing it that way. I don’t get overwhelmed by a big page with lots of words. It’s the best, I recommend it to everyone.. not to mention the very cool app thumbnail.

### 5/5 — The perfect replacement

*2026-09-08*

I am over the moon and really enjoying the app. I may or may not have noticed that I do scroll and I didn’t really didn’t see anything wrong with it other than the fact that I get bored or I start scrolling like the Price is Right wheel and not even viewing the content. I’m definitely reading every verse. It makes reading a full chapter easier somehow and almost easier to pay attention to the detail that’s in each verse because the next one isn’t following right behind it in your vision.
The app is definitely more than you give thought to when you initially think about it

### 5/5 — WWW

*2026-09-04*

i normally scroll tiktok buttttt i got this app and now o scroll this and tiktok skibidiiiu

### 5/5 — my honest opinion

*2026-09-03*

I love this app so much but I can’t pay for after the trial so that’s the only thing that’s upsetting but it’s such an amazing app and rlly helps me to read the Bible I would 100% recommend to anyone who is trying to read the Bible more and who had trouble with scrolling on YouTube TikTok etc

### 5/5 — Blessing

*2026-09-02, version 1.20*

Thank you for this!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-09-02, version 1.20*

I love this app. The way it brakes down Greek and Hebrew. It’s like having logos

### 5/5 — Amazing Overall

*2026-09-02*

I am person who thrives on sense of accomplishment and am also very easily distracted. This app has helped me manage both of those issues when it comes to reading to Bible. But marking off chapters I have read and only seeing one verse at a time I get easily invested in what I’m reading and comprehend the material. I also get extremely overwhelmed just by how much content is in the Bible at first glance. This app helps take it down into bite sized pieces. Additionally, when I feel like doomscrolling I just come back to this app instead and it keeps my hands busy and my mind engaged. I also love taking notes, liking, and sharing the verses that speak to me. I’ve caught a lot of things that I have missed over the years in previous readings by analyzing each verse and asking deeper questions. I’m honestly really thinking about getting the premium version to break down the original Hebrew text and get the context of the verse instead of having to look it all up. However, just the free stuff is more than worth it. This is a great app that I recommend to anyone.

### 5/5 — Jesus is Lord.

*2026-09-02, version 1.20*

Jesus is Lord.

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2026-09-02, version 1.20*

If you’re wanting to read and understand the Bible more. This is it. It’ll hook you in.
