### 3/5 — Cropped texts’ bottoms!

*2022-12-15, version 2.1*

However, my scrolling texts’ bottoms get cropped in my small iPhone 12 mini with zoom display.

### 4/5 — Needs a few additional features to get 5 ⭐️

*2020-09-24*

The app needs the following additional features for a 5 ⭐️ rating:
1. The ability to adjust the scrolling font size
2. Use the full width of the screen, not a narrow section of it.
3. Hide the devices clock, wifi, cellular, battery, etc. area and hide the swipe up bar at the bottom. All you should see is the scrolling text. The rest is distracting.

### 2/5 — Fun app

*2019-01-20, version 1.2.4*

I don’t like the graphics, but it’s free and I like the idea.

### 3/5 — Could Have Updated Instead Of a New App

*2018-08-04*

I really think it's kind of messed up that the developer didn't just update this app with two lines of text space available. But, they instead released this new function, as a new app, for another $5.

Gone are the days it seems where developers improved their programs by updating them with new features and not just patches. Now, they just release those new features a new app or as an in-app purchase to make double the money, woohoo!

I get that adding new features takes time and resources. But, seriously, adding a second line really didn't deserve a new app except for getting people to pay you again for the same app with one new feature.

Making money is great. I love capitalism. But, doing things this way is just sort distasteful in my opinion. I'm sure that developer would have all that reasons in the world to justify this action, they always do to defend new moneymaking ploys. But, as I said, I just find it distasteful. Yes, that's somewhat of a straw-man argument. I find it to be accurate, though. So, I cannot really articulate my feelings in any other way about this matter.

I can afford to buy this new 2X version of ScrollIt if I wanted to do so. Yet, that in my mind, would just be encouraging this sort of unethical behavior. I mean, seriously, how long do the 2X ScrollIt users believe it's going to be before that app is devoid of new feature updates, for the all new "3X ScrollIt for $6.99?" Not too long I wouldn't think. I just don't want to support that bad business tactic, as I said. I'm sure it's the fetid norm for most developers today. But I find it very distasteful among many other words I won't mention.

### 4/5 — Looks great! ...one little glitch...

*2017-12-15*

Looks great!

One little glitch. Can't delete preset banners. Slide left, hit delete button, nothing happens.

### 4/5 — Nice

*2017-10-06, version 1.2.4*

### 4/5 — Simple to use, saves presets

*2017-09-19*

The app seems simple to use, a little more polished than competing apps, and has nice effects. But my favourite part overall is that it save the messages so you can pick them from a list later instead of having to retype over and over again.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Needy!

*2017-09-24, version 1.2.4*

This is an excellent app but won't let you scroll without rating it!!

### 1/5 — ....

*2017-05-18, version 1.2*

Asked me to rate the app to get loop mode for free... I just paid $4.99, why would I pay again? One star, because I don't know if the app is any good. Loop was the first thing I clicked and it prompted me to rate it so I can use loop for free... that's pretty lame doods.

### 1/5 — App fine but ...

*2016-12-25, version 1.2*

Meh ... but largely useless.
To get some features you have to rate it... so here it is. Jerks.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2016-11-17, version 1.2*

Avoid, it limits you then eventually turns into an ad

### 1/5 — Con

*2016-06-26, version 1.2*

Works reasonably, but I object strongly to paying for an app and then being forced to write a review like this to get all the features!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Shocking Liberty!

*2016-05-13, version 1.2*

In order to use a feature I've paid for, you are FORCED to leave a review to access that feature, a shocking ripoff!
I'd like my money back please!

### 1/5 — Hmm

*2016-05-13, version 1.2*

I agree, not a good way to get reviews.

### 1/5 — Demanding a review for features?!

*2016-04-04*

Take my money please, don't demand a review

### 1/5 — Forced review

*2016-03-08, version 1.2*

Would have been 5 stars but shabbily forced to leave a review for an app I've paid for.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2016-02-10, version 1.2*

After forking out for a app you then need to write a review to keep functions
