Use social media without getting pulled into the endless scroll. Scrollout lets you keep the parts of social media you actually want while hiding the distractions that turn a quick check into an hour of scrolling. Instead of forcing you to delete social apps completely, Scrollout gives you more control over what appears when you use them. REMOVE THE DISTRACTIONS Choose what you want to hide across supported social platforms: • Reels and short-form video feeds • YouTube Shorts • Suggested and recommended content • Distracting feeds • Ads and sponsored content • Other attention-grabbing elements KEEP WHAT YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT Social media can still be useful. Scrollout helps you stay connected while reducing the parts designed to keep you scrolling. Keep access to things like: • Direct messages and conversations • Friends' posts and updates • Profiles you intentionally visit • Search and useful content • Content you actually choose to see MORE THAN FEED FILTERING Sometimes removing the feed is enough. Sometimes you need a stronger boundary. • App blocking • Blocking schedules • Daily app limits • Hard lock, for when you need to stop right now • Quick access when you genuinely need an app QUIET HOURS FOR BETTER NIGHTS Set your bedtime and wake-up time once. Every night, Quiet Hours locks your distracting apps by itself and opens them again in the morning. A calm countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island shows how long is left, so you can put the phone down and rest. FALL ASLEEP TO A VIDEO Watching YouTube in bed? Set a sleep timer and the video stops on its own, so it doesn't play all night. UNDERSTAND WHERE YOUR TIME GOES See how your phone use changes over time with clear usage insights for Today, Week and Month, without turning your screen time into another complicated dashboard. FREE VS PREMIUM Free: • Hide Reels on Instagram and Facebook • Hide YouTube Shorts and TikTok's For You feed • Stop videos from autoplaying • App blocking, blocking schedules and daily app limits • Hard lock and Quiet Hours • Sleep timer for YouTube • Usage insights for Today, Week and Month Scrollout Premium (subscription required): • All filters on every supported platform: suggested posts, ads and sponsored content, feeds, tabs and more • Multiple Instagram accounts in one place BUILT FOR INTENTIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA Scrollout isn't about giving up every social app. It's about being able to reply to a message, check something you care about, or see what your friends posted without automatically falling into Reels, Shorts or an endless recommendation feed. Keep your apps. Lose the scroll. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Scrollout Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Watch a reel someone sends you With Reels blocked on Instagram or Facebook, a reel from a friend's message or a shared link now opens and plays. You see that one reel and nothing else, so there's no swiping into the feed. A cleaner timer The short video timer at the top of the screen is simpler: just the time, with a small ring that empties as your time runs out. Smoother sign-in and links - Snapchat skips the login screen when you're already signed in. - X links no longer get stuck on a black loading screen. - Fewer pop-ups and "Open app" prompts on TikTok and Facebook. ### 3.1 — 2026-10-20 Scrollout 3.1 Sleep mode Your apps lock every night while you sleep and open again when you wake up. Drag the moon to your bedtime and the sun to your wake-up time. You can lock a little early to skip the last scroll in bed, or stay locked a little after waking so your day starts before the feed does. Sleep countdown on your Lock Screen While Sleep mode is on, a countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island shows when your apps open again. A clearer Blocking tab Sleep mode, Strict mode and Scrollout's own feed limits now each have their own section, so it's easy to find what you need. ### 3.0 — 2026-10-06 Scrollout 3.0 Sleep timer for YouTube Fall asleep to a video without it playing all night. Tap the moon, pick 5 minutes to 2 hours or "End of video", or slide to any time up to 3 hours. Short-video allowance Set how many minutes of Reels, Shorts and TikToks you get. A small countdown shows your time left, and when it runs out, short videos stop. Picture in Picture and background audio Keep a video playing in a floating window while you use other apps, or keep the audio going with your screen off. Open any link in Scrollout Paste a link from the Apps tab or the session bar, and it opens inside Scrollout with your filters on. Switch Instagram accounts Save more than one Instagram account and switch between them in one tap. Filters apply instantly Turning a filter on or off no longer reloads the app. New and improved filters: • Facebook: hide suggested posts from pages you don't follow, and stop videos from autoplaying • Instagram, X and Reddit: hide likes, comments and share buttons • TikTok: block LIVE, Shop and Search, and open on Following instead of For You • Reddit: block Popular, All, News and Explore • LinkedIn: hide the feed, promoted posts and games • Snapchat: block Spotlight Plus bug fixes and performance improvements. ### 2.0 — 2026-09-30 What’s New in Version 2.0 — General bug fixes and performance improvements ### 1.0 — 2026-09-28 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Scrollout | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Reader by Bookmark](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/reader-by-bookmark/id6792166309) | — | Free | Productivity | | [Rest Assured: Practice Log](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/rest-assured-practice-log/id6804564312) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Productivity | | [Feedlock: Stop Scrolling](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/feedlock-stop-scrolling/id6794642425) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Productivity | | [Unfeed: Block Reels & Shorts](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/unfeed-block-reels-and-shorts/id6814847686) | — | Free | Productivity | | [FeedOff: Block Reels & Shorts](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/feedoff-block-reels-and-shorts/id6815511380) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Productivity | | [minulo: Block Reels & Shorts](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/minulo-block-reels-and-shorts/id6809352229) | — | Free | Productivity | ## More apps by Barjinder Goyal - [TurboNote: AI Notetaker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/turbonote-ai-notetaker/id6737452780) - [kiwa - AI Food Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/kiwa-ai-food-tracker/id6740585725) - [Bible Time: Reduce Screen Time](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/bible-time-reduce-screen-time/id6742382736) - [Stretch Ai: Pilates & workouts](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/stretch-ai-pilates-and-workouts/id6747912431) - [VerseTok – Daily Bible Verse](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/versetok-daily-bible-verse/id6760689059) All apps by Barjinder Goyal: https://appshunter.io/developer/1769047702 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
