## What is Scrollscore?

Apple already shows your screen time, and it keeps rising. A private dashboard doesn't change anything. Your friends do.

Scrollscore turns your screen time into a score you post once a day. Your friends see it, you see theirs, and the lowest number wins. Daily check-ins, streaks, leaderboards, and group challenges make cutting back something you actually want to keep doing.

Scroll less. Score more.

A DAILY SCREEN-TIME CHECK-IN
Post yesterday's screen time each day: your total, how you did against your goal, and which apps took the most. Watch the number drop as your habits change.

STREAKS THAT MOTIVATE
Post every day and your streak grows. Showing up is the win. Miss a day? Use a streak freeze or just pick back up. Goals are flexible and fit real life.

A SOCIAL FEED WITH FRIENDS
Follow friends, react to their days, and cheer the wins. When someone's watching, the phone goes down sooner.

FRIEND LEADERBOARDS & CHALLENGES
Lowest screen time takes the top spot. Weekly and monthly group challenges, including blind ones where standings stay hidden until the end.

APP LIMITS, BLOCKING & DETOX MODE
Set daily limits and blocks on the apps that pull you in, powered by Apple's Screen Time. Or take them away entirely with Detox Mode, for anywhere from a day to 90 days. Your usage data stays private on your device.

INVITE FRIENDS, EARN FREEZES
Share your invite code. When a friend joins and posts, you earn a streak freeze.

ACCOUNTABILITY, ZERO SHAME
Guilt doesn't last. Being seen does. Scrollscore is supportive, social, and built for long-term change.

Get your time back, one day at a time.

Scrollscore uses Apple's Screen Time features. Optional streak freezes via in-app purchase. Sign in with Apple or Google.

### 5/5 — Love It!!

*2026-07-08*

ScrollScore is one of those apps that’s simple in the best way. It’s clean, easy to use, and works exactly as it should. I love being able to track my screen time and stay more mindful of how much I’m on my phone. It’s a great tool if you’re trying to build healthier habits without overcomplicating things. Along with being a fun way to interact with friends!

**Developer response:** "Simple in the best way" might be the nicest thing you could say about it — most screen-time apps bury you in dashboards and guilt, and we deliberately went the other direction. And you nailed the secret: staying mindful is a lot easier when your friends are in it with you. Thanks for taking the time to write this one out.

### 5/5 — Who would’ve thought a FREE app would help out so much

*2026-07-07*

Scrollscore has played a huge part in helping me shift away from countless hours of doomscrolling. It’s painfully beneficial to see the amount of hours of your life that’s being spent on a screen, then pair that up with friends and a leaderboard in a competitive setting - 10/10!

**Developer response:** The number on its own is easy to ignore — it's the friends and the leaderboard that make you actually do something about it. That's the entire idea, so it means a lot to hear it land. Thanks for the 10/10. Scroll less. Score more. 🏆

### 5/5 — Scrollscore Review.

*2026-07-07*

Scrollscore is a fantastic way to reduce your screen time. I’d highly recommend this app for a fun, easy way to reduce your time. Good luck!

**Developer response:** Cutting screen time shouldn't feel like a punishment, so "fun and easy" might be the best compliment we could get. Really appreciate you — and good luck to you too! 💪

### 5/5 — Scrollscore Review

This app helps me realize how much scrolling I am doing. Helps me know that I need to spend less time on my phone. Fantastic app!

**Developer response:** That first "wait… I really spend THAT long?" moment is where everything starts. Stoked it's clicking for you — thanks for taking the time to write this. 🙌

### 5/5 — Great Daily Reminder

*2026-07-07*

A thoughtful app that makes it easier to be more mindful of my screen time. Love it!

**Developer response:** Mindful without the guilt trip is exactly what we were going for, so thank you for noticing. This one genuinely made our day. 🙏

- Share your invite code and earn a streak freeze for each friend who joins and posts, up to three. Tap Invite on your profile or find it in Settings.

Coach and Stats load faster and stay fresh
- Your Daily Breakdown, Week Overview, Hourly Pattern, Pickups, and Top Apps now fill in right away, keep their content when you switch tabs, and refresh cleanly when you come back to the app. No more blank cards or a page stuck on a previous day.

App limits you can trust
- Bug fixes and improvements

### 1.4 — 2026-08-28

- Bug fixes and performance improvements.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-17

Small update, mostly polish:

- The global leaderboard now explains itself: everyone ranked by average daily screen time over their last 90 days of public posts. Lowest wins.
- Private accounts now show up as "Private user" on the leaderboard instead of quietly disappearing.
- Post to friends only? You now get a private rank — see where you'd place, visible only to you.
- Fixed a bug where a spotty connection could sign you out. You stay signed in now.
- Faster, smoother launch.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-10

Groups can now be set up as a Class, and every group shows its average screen time — so a whole class or team can see how it's doing together without putting anyone's individual number on display.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-31

App limits count your whole day
Set or lower a limit and the time you've already used today counts
toward it — so an app you're over on blocks right away instead of
starting the count from scratch. Editing one limit no longer disturbs
the others.

Detox Mode: any length you want
7, 14 and 30 days are still one tap. Custom is new — pick anything from
1 to 90 days. A long weekend off your apps, or a full two months.

You'll know the day you get them back
Every detox now shows the date, not just a day count. "Your apps come
back Monday, September 1" is easier to plan around than "30 days" — and
you see it before you commit, not after.

A look inside before you sign up
New installs can now walk through the whole app before making an
account: the feed, where you land on the leaderboard, your toughest hour
of the day, your pickups, and Detox Mode.

Plus a round of fixes so limits hold when you edit them.

Scroll less. Score more.
