## What is Scrooge?

The world’s most reluctant conversational partner, Ebenezer Scrooge, reborn through Apple Intelligence.

This is not a scripted chatbot. Every reply is generated privately on your device using Apple’s new Foundation Models, delivering instant wit, grumpiness, and Victorian sarcasm without sending a single word to the cloud.

Scrooge listens, disagrees, and occasionally softens (very occasionally). You can type or speak, and he’ll answer in a gruff British voice that’s equal parts logic and complaint.

Because it runs entirely with Apple Intelligence, each interaction is fast, secure, and personal. Powered by the same system intelligence available across iOS. No internet connection or external servers are used. Every reply is created locally through Apple’s on-device Foundation Models, ensuring privacy and instant responses.
